Why does Jeff Duncan want us to drink polluted water?

He’s hoping you have enough sense not to drink from a ditch.

Enough Sense May 27, 2015 at 3:32 pm

Jeffy does not have enough sense to worry about contaminated puddles of rain water seeping into underground water supplies or draining into above-ground water supplies. He probably lacks the same sense to know leaky pipelines can do the same. He probably thinks that oil rigs off the coast don’t matter because we don’t drink ocean water, who cares if oily water kills tourism and other coastal businesses?

Republican environmentalism in a nutshell is a sick joke that only they laugh at.

Why does the EPA want to regulate every draining ditch and mud puddle in the country?

Why, God just magically poofs safe, clean water that can never be contaminated. If you dare question that you are going to Hell!

I understand how ground water works. However most aquifer recharge zones aren’t in puddles and drainage ditches. Most of this water is surface water runoff. Most groundwater recharge is via small swamps and bottom lands. Typically near smaller creeks and streams. I have hardwood bottom land on my property and a small stream. It’s not a puddle or a drainage ditch, there’s a difference. My drainage ditch on the paved road isn’t a wetland.

Just like gun control isn’t about guns it’s about control. EPA regulations aren’t about water they are about control of private property.

For more years than I like to think about I have been fighting the insatiable appetite of govt. for more and more of our property rights. I just hope when we get a new POTUS he or she will rescind every executive order since 01/20/09.

Like almost everything that started from a good idea, the EPA has morphed into the EPAPA. Federal Agencies only know that the more power the bigger the budget and vice versa. If something gets cleaned up while trying to gain power it was more than likely accidental. It is the way of Government.

Wonder how many residents of Duncan’s district have wells?
Wonder if he knows or has ever given a thought to how the water gets in those wells?
