Assuming Sharpton thinks his daughters lawsuit is bogus(he might, he might not), one would wonder if he connects the dots between his daughters behavior and his own and considers whether he’s been a good role model for her.

That one daughter has been quoted as supportive of Cosby, saying that he never violated her in any way. Possibly that was strategic, due to the fact of who her father is. Wanted to make sure “the Reverend” stayed on his side. Her being homely probably made it reak easy not to drug and rape her, of course.
Sharpton has neither publicly supported or denounced Cosby. Says he’s not going to rush to judgement.

Come on, man…this is lame. There’s not much “redeeming” about this clown distancing himself from an obviously frivolous lawsuit that looks like it’s getting ready to blow up in their faces.
Although, if the city decides to go to court and call her bluff…there will be a jury. If the jury finds for the plaintiff and awards 20 million instead of five, will you be satisfied?
The point I am making is that frivolous or not, many eyebrow raising dollar amounts are awarded to litigants by juries through the normal legal channels.
Mmmmmmkay. Totally not what we’re talking about, but I hear you. My comment was that Fat Al deserves no credit for distancing himself from this BS suit- he’s only doing so out of political expediency. There are, as you say, ridiculous jury verdicts and settlements from time to time, but most are internet mythology. The vast majority of suits are losers (esp. since the last round of tort reform), and even some of the crazy front-page jury verdicts get overturned later (and reported on p. 16 thereafter).
