SOUTHERN CHARMER WOULD RATHER “FLUSH $100 BILLS DOWN THE TOILET”
|| By FITSNEWS || Having failed (miserably) to pull off a political comeback last fall, former South Carolina treasurer and reality television star Thomas Ravenel says he’s done with politics.
In an interview with Bravo TV, the Southern Charm star was asked the following question: “After time has passed do you ever see yourself running for office again?”
His answer?
“I love politics, interacting with people and the challenge of creating solid changes in the government,” Ravenel told the network. “However, if I do get the urge to run again I am going to start flushing 100 dollar bills down the toilet until the urge passes. As far as future career plans, I will continue to develop real-estate, and keep my main focus on my daughter.”
Obviously Ravenel’s political viability is nonexistent … which is a shame.
We’re not saying he could have beaten U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (who is also crazy), but the potential was there in 2014 for Ravenel to re-brand himself as a credible candidate – one consistently advancing pro-free market, pro-freedom ideology.
Obviously that didn’t happen …
