YES … BUT SO-CALLED “SUPER-COOPERATORS” WILL SAVE THE DAY (JUST NOT FOR YOU)
|| By FITSNEWS || So let’s get this straight: Leading “Republicans” and Democrats in Washington, D.C. generally agree that nothing should be done to defuse America’s ticking entitlement time bomb, that Obamacare should continue to be fully funded, that there should be no cuts to the U.S. welfare state, that spending on mindless global interventionism should be expanded, that domestic spying is fine and dandy, that wealthy corporations should keep getting subsidies and handouts and that nothing needs to be done about our government’s $18 trillion debt.
Yeah … that seems like an awful lot of consensus, don’t you think? Indeed … which is why we’re baffled a new study has concluded America’s government is more polarized than ever.
“We find that despite short-term fluctuations, partisanship or non-cooperation in the U.S. Congress has been increasing exponentially for over 60 years with no sign of abating or reversing,” the study’s authors report.
Really?
Really …
“Americans today are represented by political figures who struggle to cooperate across party lines at an unprecedented rate, resulting in high profile fiscal and policy battles, government shutdowns, and an inability to resolve problems or enact legislation that guides the nation’s domestic and foreign policy,” the study’s authors note.
They’ve even got a nifty chart to highlight this polarization …

Mmmm-kay …
What’s to blame for the polarization? According to the authors, it’s due to “the stratifying wealth distribution of Americans; boundary redistricting; activist activity at primary elections; changes in Congressional procedural rules; political realignment in the American South ; the shift from electing moderate members to electing partisan members movement by existing members towards ideological poles; and an increasing political, pervasive media.”
Ah yes, politically pervasive media.
Of course there’s a caveat …
Despite all this polarization, “a group of representatives continue to cooperate across party lines despite growing partisanship.”
In fact the study refers to these representatives as “super-cooperators” – although we’d humbly refer to them as “super-capitulators.”
Frankly, we think this study is bunk …
Congress may indeed be polarized (for all the reasons this study outlines) but it has nonetheless managed to preserve its bipartisan commitment to an obscenely big, invasive government dedicated to running our country into the ground.

FITS knows all the problems, points all the fingers…but when he lounged his fancy @$$ in the seat of power…he didn’t do a D*#mn thing, but more of the same ol…and peddle Sanford’s influence…
Now he’s telling us how bad it is…We Know, idiot…and we know F*#ks like FITS, and all the other government Gravy Train riders…are why….
Good points. Polarization is due to the Democrat Party disowning God and trying to replace Him with government, shredding the Constitution and trying to turn a nation based on faith laws and truths into a Godless pool of welfare, hopelessness and perversion.
Bi-polarization is posting, then having a conversation with yourself.
According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, traumatic brain injury, or TBI, “occurs when a sudden trauma causes damage to the brain.”
Clinton reportedly “fainted, fell and banged her head,” as The Daily Beast put it, suffering a subdural hematoma, or a hemorrhage between her brain and skull.
While surgery is sometimes needed in such cases, Clinton was “treated with blood thinners on Monday at a New York hospital to help dissolve a blood clot in her head,” CNN reported.
What is the prognosis after TBI?
“Disabilities resulting from a TBI depend upon the severity of the injury, the location of the injury, and the age and general health of the individual,” says the NINDS.
And following TBI, “common disabilities include problems with cognition (thinking, memory, and reasoning), sensory processing (sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell), communication (expression and understanding).”
America can’t take a chance on Hillary….

Problem all you God/American hating socialists have ….he is a Christian…that bothers you souless creatures…
Hey, I’m Catholic – I don’t give a darn who his idol is. In the words of the Pope – “who am I to judge.”
All true.
Social security is forced on every worker. In return the government pledged to make payments upon the worker’s retirement. If you want to change how the system works (or eliminate it) for workers not yet born, fine. But holy hell will be raised by those in the system if you eliminate it AFTER they have paid in (by force). Same thing for military retirement. If a stop is put to funds that are for trust funds flowing into the general account and replacing them with IOUs, then progress will be made.
“Experts Agree! Everything Is Fine!” – T-Shirt circa 1995.
Nobody is willing to compromise. They pride themselves on that.
Washington Shmashington… when is today’s update Southern Charm ratings?
Washington is neck deep in criminal behavior!
This is how polarized DC is. GOP – “we’re going to block funding for Obamacare. It must be stopped. What? Insurance lobby likes it. We’ll vote Yes.” GOP – “Immigration is out of control – and the executive order is a disaster – we will stop DHS funding until he backs down. What? Government shut down? We’ll pass it.” GOP – “Obama cannot be trusted to negotiate anything. What? Chamber of Commerce wants him to have Fast Track authority? We’ll pass it.” It’s so polarized the GOP gives Obama everything he wants. The only polarization out there is the Tea Party polarized against the rest of the United States.
Give it up Rock…Obama destroyed the Democrat Party…they will never recover…just like Muslim Obama once said….’elections have consequences’…
Ha, Good one. Just like fools like me figured your part was finished in 2008. But like bad onions, they keep coming back up. Isn’t that what they said in 1988 with Jesse Jackson, only to see Bill Clinto unseat Bush 1 and then take Dole out to the pineapple shack? Or in 2004, only to see the McCain / Palin bus go off the cliff? Pendulums swing.
