“REPUBLICAN” GOVERNOR CONSIDERING SCANDAL-SCARRED EX-S.C. BUREAUCRAT FOR POST

|| By FITSNEWS || Lillian Koller was an unmitigated disaster as director of the S.C. Department of Social Services (SCDSS).  Which is why she (eventually) was forced from her job.

We’ve written extensively about Koller’s many issues … the most serious of which were addressed last year by a legislative audit.

But Koller wasn’t just a disaster when it came to child welfare … there were a host of other problems.

What sort of problems?  Well, there’s the agency’s ongoing failure with regard to the state’s child support enforcement database – or its total lack of follow-through regarding a food stamp waiver touted by S.C. governor Nikki Haley in her so-called “war on fat” (three years later this waiver has yet to be filed, by the way).  There are also questionable consultant payments and allegations of cooked books at its “welfare to work” program (as well as its food stamp system).

(For a recent report detailing one of these scams, CLICK HERE).

So … how did Koller get her job?  We exposed the politics behind that move, too  (which is why Haley repeatedly refused to accept her resignation).

Anyway …

Koller must have friends in very high places, though, because sources in Illinois recently reached out to us – and others – inquiring about her.

What for?

“She is being considered for an appointment by the governor,” one source told us.

Wait … which governor?   Turns out they’re referring to Bruce Rauner, a “Republican” who was elected governor of Illinois last fall.

“I think our governor might be calling in a favor,” one state lawmaker in South Carolina told FITS.  “Who else would even consider hiring that woman?  She is a train wreck.  This is the same thing Haley did for the governor of Hawaii.”

Sure looks that way …

Rauner is currently looking for a new director for the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) – although we’d be shocked if he actually nominated Koller for the position.

Seriously … there’s no way in hell she would survive the vetting for such a post, is there?  Is there?

We know it’s Illinois and all, but come on … really?

yep, Ohaley brought her from Hawaii, a very Strong state for the Dems. and Obama’s favorite spot. Now she goes to Illinois another very strong State for the Dems.where Obama’s butt buddies rule!
But, our supposed Rep. Governor brought her here to screw up things, along with her Kitzman, St. Onge and all of her other incompetent ass wipes.

Don’t forget little pudgy Marshmello Adams. She was Kitzman’s lap bitch!

And, remember, all you have to do to know what an incompetent manager that Adams is is to read the 2011 LAC report on the SCDMV. The LAC found the DMV financial controls were so poor that neither the DMV nor LAC could determine whether or not DMV was paying vendors twice with taxpayer money. Is that another form of crony capitalism?

And, since then, she has only risen higher with Haley’s appointments and legislative confirmations. Have they voted yet to make her head of the Dept. of Administration?

God save SC from ‘reorganization’.

I call bullshit on them! Any good auditor can determine that. Sounds like either– [1] (pressure put on the auditors to ignore/overlook) — [2] (not allowed enough time for searching) — [3] (incompetence…..

That’s the second time in the last months that Illinois took someone we needed to get rid of: Ex-USC provost Michael Amiridis was the other one – good that Pastides got right of that guy. He was very critical of athletics and way too pro-faculty. With him gone Pastides can clean up to rest of that academic swamp in Columbia – Go gamecocks – ALL THE WAY – GO HARRIS PASTIDES

Years ago, as he was being considered for USC president, I heard people at USC disparagingly refer to him as “Pesticides.” I wonder what that was about?

Koller’s a lawyer.
Why doesn’t she just practice law?
Isn’t there some right wing law firm somewhere that can put her to work and keep her off the public payroll?

There is one thing Trucker Koller is good for-but if she ever gets lock jaw she’s screwed.
