Conservatives aren’t smart enough to know the difference. Rand Paul, Ron Paul, close enough. Like Blacks and Hispanics, not sure what the difference is but we only want real Americans (you know white people) voting..
See, that’s the whole thing…Rand Paul’s people desperately want to tie him to Ron Paul even though he’s no where near as radical/principled as his father on his ideals. Rand is more like Mitt Romney, flip flopping as he perceives the need.
He’s trying to ride his daddy’s coattails in terms of hoping to retain some of those that liked Ron Paul without all the inconvenience of most of his father’s opinions.
Cruz is a CONSERVATIVE. Paul has SERIOUS National Security problems, at a time when Obama has the nation SCARED to death over foreign policy…

I have advocated , for a while now , that all the conservatives should get in a room , close the door and cut a deck of cards to determine who will represent the conservative voice. Then everyone get behind that candidate. In 08 and 12 we had several conservative candidates while the establishment put out one . The conservatives tore each other to pieces while the establishment type coasted to a win. That is why so many conservatives stayed home and Obummer won. Why do we keep doing this ? Egos have to take a back seat reality.
