FIRST. WORLD. PROBLEMS.
|| By FITSNEWS || You wanna talk about first world problems? Yeah … let’s do that. Because we should probably enjoy them while we’ve got them, right?
Anyway today (March 23, 2015) is ‘National Puppy Day‘ in the United States – a day on which we pause “to celebrate the magic and unconditional love that puppies bring to our lives.” So yeah … prepare for your Facebook page to be “littered” with images of fluffy, furry fun.
Oh, for those of you keeping score at home ‘National Kitten Day‘ in the United States – a holiday sponsored by a cat litter company – is December 4.
How steeped in tradition is this holiday, you ask? It was created in 2006 (that’s right, not even a decade ago) by author/ animal behaviorist Colleen Paige – who maintains a website dedicated to the “holiday.” And yes, we’re sure government employees will soon be petitioning to establish this as yet another paid day off – as if lounging around in stretch pants posting pictures of puppies on social media wasn’t already how they spent most of their time at work.
Sheesh …
Look, this website loves animals. Just click HERE to see our latest advocacy on their behalf. But National Puppy Day? Really? Strikes us as roadkill … err, overkill. Not to mention another reason we supported S.C. governor Nikki Haley‘s recent decision to ban employees in her cabinet from using social media on taxpayer time.

I love puppies so much that I cut off their heads and mount them, hanging them in my study, so I can remember them as puppies forever.
With a little luck you may encounter “my therapist is poor” who loves dick so much he cuts them off, mounts them, hangs them in his study so he can remember no matter where he goes, what he hears or what he sees there is always another dickhead out there
lol….sounds like my kinda guy.
“Mr. Gerber,” the psychiatrist said, “You’re all better now . Your treatment is over.”
Mr. Gerber said, “Oh, Doctor, I can’t believe. Is there something I can do for you in return for all these years?”
“You’ve paid your bill, and that’s all I require.”
“But, Doctor, that isn’t enough. You’re incredible. I could hug you and kiss you.”
“Please don’t do that. Actually, we shouldn’t even be lying here on the couch together.”
Does this include sweater puppies?
My favorite kind!
They always come out and play whenever you throw them a bone.
The new patient said, “I want to feel like a new man.”
The psychiatrist said, “Can this new guy afford me?”
Kim Novak = the undisputed queen of sweater puppies
That being said, Encore network is featuring “vote best James Bond flick” and last night they featured “Dr. No”
I was 9 years old when i saw “Dr. No” at the drive-in with my parents. When I saw Ursla Andress come out of the water, a funny feeling came over me and my world has never been the same since!!!!!
Before that I thought firecrackers were shit hot but after seeing Ursla come out of the water, something told me that there was something more fun than firecrackers!!!
5 or 6 years later Raquel Welch confirmed that (along with a certain female 10th grader in my high school named Carla !!!!)
I won’t argue Novak’s canine credentials int he sweater puppy areana but these days, she has a face that only a mother could love – woof!
Time & Gravity are a bitch!!!!!
She turned herself into the “Joker” with all that plastic surgery.
Damn! You beat me to it. I’ll try to see Adorabella today…..
The world is definately fucked up but holding a puppy ain’t the worst thing in the world and that is a cute-assed picture.
Lighten the fuck up.
Today is also NEAR MISS DAY
——————————————
NEAR MISS DAY commemorates the day a huge Asteroid nearly missed hitting the earth. On March 23, 1989, an asteroid the size of a mountain, came within 500,000 miles of a collision with Earth. In interstellar terms, it was a near miss. Had it collided with the Earth, it would have left a devastating crater the size of Washington, D.C. It’s affect on the planet would have been catastrophic. Since then, there have been other near misses.
Best dog I ever owned started out as a puppy..
