BETH BERNSTEIN’S LEGISLATION BACK BY NIKKI HALEY …
|| By FITSNEWS || S.C. Rep. Beth Bernstein‘s bill requiring the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) to provide information about the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to parents of sixth grade girls cleared the S.C. House this week.
“The fact that our state has one of the highest cervical cancer mortality rates in the nation is unacceptable,” Bernstein said. “By providing parents with information about this very important and safe vaccine, we can help prevent thousands of cancer cases in South Carolina each year.”
By an 83-27 vote, the measure cleared the “Republican-controlled” chamber. It also has the support of S.C. governor Nikki Haley – who has a tortured history on this issue.
As a state lawmaker, Haley co-sponsored legislation in 2007 requiring every eleven-year-old girl in the Palmetto state to receive a vaccination against HPV. In fact Haley refused to take her name off of this controversial bill even after nearly two dozen of her colleagues (Republicans and Democrats) pulled their support in light of its failure to include “opt out” language.
On the campaign trail in 2010, Haley flat out lied about her position.
“Through the legislative process, it became clear to me that an opt-out provision was not going to be included in the bill and it sought to mandate that middle-school girls obtain a vaccine – and strip parents of the right to make the choice for their daughter(s),” Haley wrote on her campaign website in 2010. “In light of that turn of events, I voted to kill the bill.”
That statement was totally false, though. Haley voted at least once on the record to kill an amendment that would have added a parental “opt-out” provision to the bill. Then there was another “off the record” vote offering up similar “opt-out” language she voted to kill as well.
As governor, Haley flip-flopped completely and vetoed legislation that would have provided free HPV vaccinations – with a parental “opt out” clause.
Now she’s apparently flipping back …
Bernstein said her office worked to negotiate “a compromise with the Governor that allowed her to support a bill that she has vetoed in the past.”
“Politics killed this bill in the past, but I was determined to not let that happen again,” she said.
Even if it meant Kabuki-dancing with the governor, apparently.

My insurance company, thus far, has not mandated vaccines.
Cervical cancer is very treatable if caught early via regular pap smears. And most people’s immune system fights off the HPV virus without developing cancer. Certain behaviors such as smoking increase the risk.
I don’t know where you get the $50 from, but Guardasil is a 3 shot series that costs over $600.

Or we can educate on the dangers of unprotected sex and even encourage abstinence, and save both the $50 and the so-called hundreds of thousands of dollars. Let’s be clear here. HPV is transmitted via sex. Why are there advocates for mandating a vaccine for a sexually transmitted disease? Perhaps they’re morally bankrupt?
No, it is because it is cheap and easy to vaccinate against a terrible disease that will cost the taxpayers HUGE money for medical treatments, whatever the reason for the transmission of the disease.
You can’t legislate morality but you can legislate for vaccination, which will at least deal with “moral” failures (or your basic common f*cking which seems to have many other results as well).
How is the treatment of this going to cost taxpayers money? Isn’t that what health insurance is for? The “victims” of this disease will suffer for their own consequences. If they wish to have free reign sex, then they are the ones who can go get the vaccination. The fact is, this disease is only spread via sex. It’s like HIV, simply spread through some sort of transfer of bodily fluids. Should we also mandate a vaccination for HIV as well. It’s based on personal choice. Any mandate for such a vaccine is a full-on attack on liberty.

HPV can be spread through skin contact as well and is extremely common. I had my daughters vaccinated, but it was my choice and my bill – nothing mandated.

Uh, everyone who pays taxes pays for health/medical care now, or their employers pay for the insurance so that the insurance pool (i.e., you and your employer) pays, so when someone gets the illness, the insurance (i.e., you and me) pays. If they don’t have insurance, someone(s) still pay. That’s how it works and why you should want to minimize what you pay for, in this case a vaccination that will obviate huge future costs for those who aren’t vaccinated and get the disease.

HPV does not routinely cause these cancers. Yeah I heard about the movie star Michael Douglas. How many other people can you name who have these HPV caused cancers? Probably none. Because it is quite rare.

This is a movement to making the HPV vaccination a REQUIREMENT for all. My recommendation is for the parents to have the freedom to decide.
I did my own research and opted out of giving my kids the HPV. It is too new to know the long term effects. Regular Pap smears catch cervical cancers at early treatable stages. How many people do you know who have died of cervical cancer lately?

Of course. I also believe regular PAP smears catch early cervical cancer, which is rare to begin with, that can easily be treated. There are risks to every vaccine, known and unknown. Get your calculator out and do a little Probability and Statistics and then decide.

Judicial Watch announced today that it has received doucments from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) revealing that its National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) has awarded $5,877,710 dollars to 49 victims in claims made against the highly controversial HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccines. To date 200 claims have been filed with VICP, with barely half adjudicated.
The documents came in response to a February 28, 2013, Judicial Watch lawsuit against HHS to force the department to comply with a November 1, 2012, Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:13-cv-00197)). On March 12, 2013, The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of HHS, provided Judicial Watch with documents revealing the following information:
Only 49 of the 200 claims filed have been compensated for injury or death caused from the (HPV) vaccine. Of the 49 compensated claims 47 were for injury caused from (HPV) vaccine the additional 2 claims were for death caused due to the vaccine.
92 (nearly half) of the total 200 claims filed are still pending. Of those pending claims 87 of the claims against (HPV) vaccine were filed for injury, the remaining 5 claims were filed for death.
59 claims have been dismissed outright by VICP. The alleged victims were not compensated for their claims against the HPV vaccine. Of the claims dismissed, 57 were for injuries, 2 were for deaths allegedly caused by the HPV vaccine.
The amount awarded to the 49 claims compensated totaled 5,877,710.87 dollars. This amounts to approximately $120,000 per claim.
According to World Health Organization data, the rate of serious adverse reactions reported to the VAERS system is 2.5 times higher than the current age-standardized death rate from cervical cancer. According to an evaluation performed by Sanevax of the 75 FDA approved vaccines, the HPV vaccines account for 60% of the entire VAERS database of adverse events. This includes 64% of all reported deaths and 65% of life threatening reactions. An additional 82% of all cases of permanent disability for women under 30 years of age is attributed to the HPV vaccines. Adverse reactions include seizures, anaphylaxis, paralysis, transverse myelitis, Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome (uncontrollable movement of the eyes back and forth and jerking movements of the extremities), brachial neuritis, loss of vision, postural tachycardia syndrome, facial palsy, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, chronic fatigue syndrome, blindness, pancreatitis, speech problems, short term memory loss, miscarriage, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune disorders, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

Deaths due to cervical cancer have come down from 8 to 2/100,000 over the last 40 years with no vaccine. At this rate it should be zero within 10 years. The vaccine won’t be effective for at least 20 years (the time it takes cancer to develop) Why do you need a vaccine which causes so many SAE?

Typically, when an adverse reaction to a vaccine is reported, our health authorities crunch a few numbers and then declare it to be a coincidence. These two scientists delved further, examining the brain tissues of two teenagers who died after receiving vaccines for HPV.
Death after Quadrivalent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination: Causal or Coincidental?
Abstract
Background: The proper understanding of a true risk from vaccines is crucial for avoiding unnecessary adverse reactions (ADRs). However, to this date no solid tests or criteria have been established to determine whether adverse events are causally linked to vaccinations.
Objectives: This research was carried out to determine whether or not some serious autoimmune and neurological ADRs following HPV vaccination are causal or merely coincidental and to validate a biomarker-based immunohistochemical (IHC) protocol for assessing causality in case of vaccination-suspected serious adverse neurological outcomes.
Methods: Post-mortem brain tissue specimens from two young women who suffered from cerebral vasculitis- type symptoms following vaccination with the HPV vaccine Gardasil were analysed by IHC for various immuno- inflammatory markers. Brain sections were also stained for antibodies recognizing HPV-16L1 and HPV-18L1 antigen which are present in Gardasil.
Results: In both cases, the autopsy revealed no anatomical, microbiological nor toxicological findings that might have explained the death of the individuals. In contrast, our IHC analysis showed evidence of an autoimmune vasculitis potentially triggered by the cross-reactive HPV-16L1 antibodies binding to the wall of cerebral blood vessels in all examined brain samples. We also detected the presence of HPV-16L1 particles within the cerebral vasculature with some HPV-16L1 particles adhering to the blood vessel walls. HPV-18L1 antibodies did not bind to cerebral blood vessels nor any other neural tissues. IHC also showed increased T-cell signalling and marked activation of the classical antibody-dependent complement pathway in cerebral vascular tissues from both cases. This pattern of complement activation in the absence of an active brain infection indicates an abnormal triggering of the immune response in which the immune attack is directed towards self-tissue.
Conclusions: Our study suggests that HPV vaccines containing HPV-16L1 antigens pose an inherent risk for triggering potentially fatal autoimmune vasculopathies.
Practice implications: Cerebral vasculitis is a serious disease which typically results in fatal outcomes when undiagnosed and left untreated. The fact that many of the symptoms reported to vaccine safety surveillance databases following HPV vaccination are indicative of cerebral vasculitis, but are unrecognized as such (i.e., intense persistent migraines, syncope, seizures, tremors and tingling, myalgia, locomotor abnormalities, psychotic symptoms and cognitive deficits), is a serious concern in light of the present findings. It thus appears that in some cases vaccination may be the triggering factor of fatal autoimmune/neurological events. Physicians should be aware of this association.

No, they will just be told that these vaccines are so safe and effective and that HPV is so dangerous. That’s propaganda.
It is too new. The benefits do not outweigh the risks. Only whores die of cervical cancer. I wouldn’t give the HPV to my dog, much less my child.

CONCLUSION:
We documented here the evidence of the potential of the HPV vaccine to trigger a life-disabling autoimmune condition. The increasing number of similar reports of post HPV vaccine-linked autoimmunity and the uncertainty of long-term clinical benefits of HPV vaccination are a matter of public health that warrants further rigorous inquiry.
