That all happened under Bush, not Obama you dumb ass. It was the Bush Recession that killed the middle class and the Bush Wall Street Bail out that drove the nail in the coffin. We have been trying to recover ever since.
Bull-$#!* — there was REAL job creation under Bush. The TRUE unemployment rate of FULL-TIME jobs was 4.5% under Bush, and salaries increased, while taxes were down…and we attacked the threat of terrorism to the point it was retreating…And our insurance premiums were MUCH lower and insurance actually WORKED…

This is BS, The budget proposal is exactly what I would expect from Republicans. Cut taxes on the rich, increase spending on defense, and pay for it by cutting programs designed to benefit the middle class and security when people are too old and too sick to work. This budget proposes not just to end the Affordable Care Act, it also proposes to kill Medicare and Medicaid. Leaving Americans who are too old or too sick to work to suffer so that Koch and Company and Defense Contractors can get paid more money.
This is what unlimited dark money in politics gets you. A government dedicated to getting money to the rich and connected. Hello 1890. Happy days are here again.

Another theatrical drama from the Chicken Little Cato group about the “runaway debt problem”. The right has been predicting doom and gloom due to the debt for years as part of the fear/threat strategy to keep the base amped up (and forking over the dough). None of the predictions about the consequences of debt have materialized, but they beat the same tired drum. Because it works; it has become a urban myth of legendary proportion. And, if anyone is so concerned about it, why are solutions limited to cuts and reductions while ruling out increases in revenue and reduction in tax expenditures to corporate interests?
Hey, wait a minute! We need a new stealth bomber! The one we have now has never been challenged in combat and our new F-35 fighter can only fly in clear weather. Obviously we need something better!
