SIGMA ALPHA EPSILON BOOTED FROM SOONER NATION
|| By FITSNEWS || Pro tip: If you’re not black, don’t use the N-word.
Certain members of the University of Oklahoma’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity failed to heed this advice, and as a result their days on the Norman campus appear to be numbered … and rightfully so.
“As far as I’m concerned, they will not be back,” school president David Boren said. “Not as long as I’m president.”
Boren is responding to a leaked video of SAE members extolling their segregationist views – while at the same time appearing to endorse the lynching of blacks.
“There’ll never be a n*gger SAE,” the white frat boys chant in the clip, which was forwarded to a black activist group on the school’s campus (props to Tyler Durden-in-training who pulled off that transfer).
Later, fraternity members sing “you can hang them from a tree” before chanting the chorus again.
Anyway, take a look (NSFW warning for language) …

Unreal …
“You are disgraceful,” Boren told the SAE members. “You have violated all that we stand for. You should not have the privilege of calling yourselves ‘Sooners.'”
The school has initiated an investigation into the incident as well …
Closer to home, SAE is the same fraternity which came under fire for hosting a “Cripmas” party at Clemson University last December – in which its white students posed as black gang members.
To its credit, the fraternity did issue a swift apology for the behavior depicted in the video.
“We apologize for the unacceptable and racist behavior of the individuals in the video, and we are disgusted that any member would act in such a way,” a statement from the organization read. “Furthermore, we are embarrassed by this video and offer our empathy not only to anyone outside the organization who is offended but also to our brothers who come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities.”
“This type of racist behavior will not be tolerated and is not consistent with the values and morals of our fraternity,” the statement added.

Will they close down the White House??…it’s home to a VERY POWERFUL, dangerous and damaging, Racist…
Painting your own failings on others much?
Pee Wee Herman much???
Here we go again–more constipated ideas and diarrhea words.
NYT cropped W out of a Selma photo….how F*#king HATEFUL are you @$$holes…
You don’t want racial unity…you want to create strife to drive ignorant and small-minded voters to your corrupt and racist politicians…
And that was Obama’s fault, right, shit-for-brains?
No…nothing is Obama’s fault you F*#king idiot. He ONLY takes credit……you have not learned that by now. How much of a F*#king liberal Dumb@$$, are you? …LMAO…
You’re just a bitter idiot who can’t accept reality. Go get your tea party tin foil hat on buddy.
You’re a scholar and a true gentleman.
The Superman is so rarely attuned to those of his own time. Alas.
a latter day Stephen Potter
…the N-word
Nietzche?
Damn straight!
There goes GrandTango
There goes the REPUBLICAN party
It’s time someone put their foot down. And that foot is me.
Knowledge is Good
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life son…
So is the University also going to ban rap music on campus? There was nothing said in that video that isn’t repeated in every rap song.
I’ll bet “Horst Wessel” is still OK even, so long as it’s not translated.
Isn’t disgusting speech the same thing as free speech?!… oops, I’m sorry, as Janice Joplin so beautifully sang, “freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose”… as in no job, no college, no clients, no future (all because the modern day PC police ruin you for saying the wrong things). As for me, I’ll take the good and the bad in order to retain my God-given freedom.
No one is putting them in jail. Just “divorcing” them. They are perfectly free to chant what they wish . . . elsewhere.
Here I mean as fratdopes. As individual students they should not be suspended or expelled. It wasn’t chanted from the student section of a coliseum, for instance, where they represented the school to the public.
Doesn’t sound like they were smart enough to be in college to begin with.
As long as you are shoving fists full of cash at the university you are smart enough for college as far as universities go anymore. Green matter is always a substitute for gray matter.
This x-frat says this is trashy. Way trashy. Way way trashy.
I am so glad that social media wasn’t around when I was in college.
Ummm… Just because it’s not on tape doesn’t mean you’re not a disgraceful racist.
SAE and Confederacy. http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2015/03/09/3631366/racist-chant-frat-long-history-racist-incidents/
Betcha lots of those SAE Bo’s were Democrats!
Oh yea, sure they were. A bunch of redneck white frat boys from a deep red state. They have to be Democrats. I mean what else could they possibly be?
Why would they be quoting from the GOP platform then?
Love it! These racist dumbasses stick there necks out when they think no one is watching then off with their heads when they show themselves. Coming soon to a city near you!
Let’s see, a public university banning students for saying offensive things. The ACLU is licking its chops.
Yep. I am sure they will be right there.
The black chef at the SAE House is now out of work.
They keep saying racism is dead and gone, and then things like this happen.
Finally, an organization that Squishy123 feels at home with.
“Racist . . . Fraternity” is redundant
Let’s be clear here. It is entirely legal to say, chant or sing racial slurs. However, like our own University of South Carolina, University of Ok students are required to abide by the Univ Creed. Using racial slurs is breaking rules of the creed for which the student can be punished in whatever the Univ deems appropriate.
Righto. Folks need to remember- the nitwit students are not being prosecuted for their nitwittery, just sanctioned by the school, with which they are engaged in a legal, consensual relationship.
Right on the 50th anni of the Selma march, no less.
I fer one think these boys were simply over exuberant. Why, out by the huntin’ lodge I frequent, we have a rock we calls Nigga Rock. Don’t mean nothin’ by it. I often go out there with my friend, Grand Tango from South Carolina. He’s a good ole boy.
I fail to see the downside to running off racists and frat boys.
