These new up to date modes of transportation are on the cutting edge of technology and are the products of a $60+ million dollar investment by the taxpayers

Here’s where you show your ignorance. Clyburn did all he could to keep Tinubu from being elected. He wanted Preston Brittain instead. Once Tinubu became the nominee, he did nothing to help her. Those who installed Tom Rice in Congress could count on help from Clyburn, because he has long been their political patron. If you don’t understand this about the political dynamics of this district, you understand nothing at all.
Get clear: Rice — who DailyKos referred to as “One of Us” (meaning one of THEM) based on his early voting record — was elected with much help from Clyburn, and with much “bluedog” Dem money. Tinubu was well aware of this, every step of the way. Last time, he at least paid lip service to being for Tinubu — but in truth did nothing.

If you don’t think Clyburn plays both sides of the aisle in SC you are a bigger fool than I ever thought you were. Many of the corrupt GOPers are beholden to him, and he is beholden to them as well. Just look at the way the Repubs gleefully cooperated with him in in gerrymandering the perfect district for him to assure he will be in office ’til he croaks. Just look at how this kept those undesirable darker hued individuals from ever having anything close to a majority in their districts. I’m not just talking about how these dynamics play out on the national level. There’s much that went on behind the scenes relating to all this in the SC legislature. Or rather, it is public info if you know where to look. Not the least of which is the who, what, when, where and why of how these congressional district lines were drawn up to begin with.

Well, Roseanne Barr is mighty upset about it. But since a lot of Jewish liberal Dems are hoping for Netanyahu’s defeat in the upcoming election, I don’t think you can make a blanket statement about the way they feel about this campaign stunt in the US Congress.
Obama did not initiate this situation. Didn’t Republicans attempt to embarrass Obama by inviting Bibi to address Congress, when in fact the Executive branch is charged with operating foreign policy? Also, didn’t Bibi decline to meet with Dems in Congress?

Message to SC from Obama via Rocky
I want to thank the people of South Carolina for the invitation to come and visit. For many of you I realize that the past six years have been difficult. Despite the great gains made across our country in health insurance, employment and an ever improving economy, these great accomplishments have not reached many of you. I wish I could do more, but your State Legislature and Governor make it nearly impossible. I do have some tips to help. First, consider moving to Charlotte or Atlanta. There are many more job opportunities there. Well Charlotte for certain. Also, I have struggled the last couple of years to visit a truly poor state, because outside of the deep south (which you can understand the secret service suggests I avoid) there really aren’t any poor states left. Well Alaska is sort of odd. But anyway, this will give me the opportunity to see how rasism and poor governing allow a state to continue to lead in high porverty, poor education and dysfunctinoal government. In fact, Boehner called me last night and said in advance of my trip – “hey, at least we’re not as bad as SC.” Anyway – hope to see you soon.
