Not boz but i think they will fast track it and I honestly believe by fall they will have a decision. Texas hand picked a GW BUsh appointment who has known issues with Obama etc, the court of appeals has always been very conservative so its on a fast track to SCOTUS in my opinion.

It may be overturned, it may not. It’s still unconstitutional no matter what the ‘high court’ tries to say. GT and FITS are in agreement on that, yet he/she pretends like they are oil and water, spending his time assuming what FITS is hoping for. It’s hysterical and quite pathetic. Napolitano said the amnesty program is on hold “probably forever” unless the appeals court decides to overturn Hanen’s injunction.

Citizenship and voting, Is not a major concern of the vast majority of these folks. They just want to work in the open and be allowed to stay in the US with their Children, who are citizens and will have the right to vote. When they came here they did not harbor the belief they would be citizens and vote. They came looking for jobs and opportunity.
I look at it this way. Regardless of what happens here, Hispanics know Republicans are to blame and that can’t be bad. As they age and become voters, the children of these folks won’t forget the treatment of their parents.

So first off, this gets appealed, and the injunction is probably lifted, or it’s fast tracked to the Supreme Court. Either way, it probably ends up with the Supreme Court in June. That’s about as far out as the GOP can afford this issue to be out there. And Jeb can’t afford to have to squabble with the riff raff candidates over immigration, because the debate itself, regardless of policy positions, is the poison pill for Latino voters relative to the GOP. That aside, from the legal standpoint, the Administration will probably be able to make the broader case that since this relates to people already here, it places no new undo burden on any states, thus no damages. The EO effectively says, if you’ve been here since a certain period of time, have not committed a felony and have a family here, you can apply for a temporary work permit that allows you to earn a living until your case is adjucated, or until there is a reform to address your legal status. You’re still here illegaly, and your status will still need to be resolved. Same holds true for Dreamers. Since the SCOTUS has already tacitly upheld the policy for Dreamers when they ordered Arizona to issue drivers licenses to Dreamers, they’re likely to uphold the EO. The reason is simple, from the view of the SCOTUS, it relates to an issue that needs to be solved for legislatively. They will likely punt by allowing the EO to stand, throwing it back, in essence, to Congress to resolve through legislative reform. On a side note, what is funny here, is that the Texas court is saying the states are suffering damage. But that leaves only two other options. They remain in legal limbo, which is the status quo, or they are deported immediately, which, in fact, would cause greater damage to the states in the form of lower tax revenues, depressed property values and in the case of agricultural sectors, an inability to harvest crops. Another cut off nose to spite face moment for the GOP. Either way in the end, the GOP’s gloating over this ruling only makes it that much harder to win the White House in 2016. OK – feel free to now attack me and my family.
