You know, what you right wingers can’t seem to understand is the difference between, viewing specific people as sex objects and demeaning an entire class of people. If a woman or a man decides to perform an exotic dance for money, that is his or her decision. Is it a good one? I think not. I think it shows a lack of self respect. Just as I think women who allow Fits News to publish pictures of them in provocative poses for men on this site to make lewd comments about shows a lack of self respect. But that is not my call. Who is taking advantage of whom in that arrangement is open for debate. Many men and women will pay for exotic dancers, and apparently there is no shortage of women and men willing to take that money. The fact that a man or woman likes to watch strippers does not indicated they view the opposite sex as having a subservient roll in society. Its like gambling and drinking, a vice.
What Mr. Corbin represents is something different altogether. He, like a significant portion of southern Republican men, politicians in particular, view women as having a subservient place in society. As people whose opinions are less important than the opinions of men. As people who are less deserving of education. As people deserving of lower pay. Their view of “family values” involves a dominant husband and a subservient wife.
Some of this is to be expected. The party is dominated by old white men; but I think until that changes any woman with a brain and who does not think of themselves as subservient to men, especially women with daughters, are crazy to vote for Republicans. Of course if you are a Stepford wife, this may mean nothing to you.

I haven’t seen his whereabouts in NW Spartanburg since he won back in 2012. I heard he did show up in Landrum some months back and I do get the obligatory Christmas card with him and his smiling wife and kids (since I vote in the Republican primaries).
A highly traveled road connecting NW Spartanburg & NE Greenville counties (which is within his senatoral district) is washed out and he knows about it.
I talked to him over the phone about the road and he was about as effective as tits on a boar hog. After that one discussion with him I knew he was a goober. TR deserves better.
Looks like he is too busy dissing women and making sure that everybody can own a gun so they can be called up the militia in case the shit hits the fan – that is the only bill I think he was the lead sponsor (reference SC Code of laws Title 25,Chapt. 1 – Military code,section 25-1-1890) to do anything about the condition of roads in NW Spartanburg & NE Greenville counties let alone much else.
