When was the last time a bomb threat was called in to a facility… Followed by an actual bomb exploding?
I have family that worked in public safety for many years. I was told Bomb Threat = False Alarm. It’s a universal truth.
I’m a student at cofc and I agree with you guys for the most part but I think that most people would start a riot if they didn’t investigate. But also the weird part is why did the person report bombs in two different buildings? I mean…if they wanted to get out of a test in the Beatty center (one of the locations given) then why also say there was one in a residence hall?
They have to investigate and evacuate no doubt. The same family member above reamed out a high school administration for failing to evacuate and investigate before. Just a good rule of thumb over what to worked up over and what to go yeah well I have better things to do. I understand multiple agencies were involved with the response, and sadly at time communications between agencies are lacking and cause confusion as to locations etc. Then there was the drama with Cougar Alert which show how important communication is and how lackluster our implementations for communication are.
No kidding. How many bomb threats have been called in to Baghdad in the last ten years? Those bastards mean business, not some high school loser who doesn’t want to take a test on Monday
