Doesn’t matter is you are a man, a woman, married, dating or ant combination of the above. 70% of those Domestic Violence Cases that end in death have fire arms involved – just an FYI. Oh and for the record we are also # 2 in the number of women killed by men!

I work for the university and was close to the building when it happened; chaotic. I love how this topic brings out the gun nuts. Professor Shoots His Ex-wife in Botched Murder Attempt is the headline they would have gotten. Perhaps we would only have one dead if concealed or open carry was allowed on campus, who knows? I do know this much: every single time a shooting happens these people start talking about gun free zones and everyone being a target ad infinitum BEFORE THEY KNOW THE FACTS. Perhaps people that jump the gun on such things might not be the best ones to be carrying guns in the first place? Nothing like a presumtiuous concealed carrier. Whatever NRA dudes, I digress. Fits is great and all, but what the hell is up with announcing every exclusive no matter how trivial? Weak.

How that would relate to my comment in any way is beyond me. I never implied she was pro or anti, nor did I say all people that carry are idiots. Ive been shot at, but I don’t carry because I choose not to. Statistically speaking, gun advocates don’t really have a leg to stand on, but I would never suggest someone be denied their RIGHT to bear arms to protect themselves and their families. Carry or don’t, but chill the hell out about people coming to take your guns, etc. If it is of such vital importance carry whenever and wherever you like, take a chance, it’s a matter of life and death anyway right?
