MOGUL DISSES FORMER “REPUBLICAN” NOMINEE (AND THE BUSHES) IN EARLY-VOTING SOUTH CAROLINA
|| By FITSNEWS || He didn’t actually utter his signature catchphrase, but billionaire real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump left absolutely no doubt as to his views on the man he endorsed for the presidency in 2012.
“Mitt Romney – he let us all down,” Trump told reporters aboard his custom Boeing 757 shortly after landing in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where he is delivering the keynote address to the 2015 South Carolina Tea Party convention.
The flamboyant 68-year-old businessman – who is mulling a presidential bid of his own in 2016 – said Romney couldn’t even win an election against “a failed president.”
“For him to be running again is outrageous,” Trump said of the former Massachusetts governor.
Trump was especially lived over statements attributed to the former candidate by his son, Tagg Romney.
“(Mitt) wanted to be president less than anyone I’ve met in my life,” the younger Romney told The Boston Globe in December 2012. “If he could have found someone else to take his place . . . he would have been ecstatic to step aside.”
That remark rubbed “The Donald” the wrong way.
“He had so many people working so hard for him – for him to put out that signal was disgraceful,” he said.
Trump also had less than kind words for the candidacy of former Florida governor Jeb Bush – the current frontrunner for the GOP nomination (if national polls are to believed).
“The last thing this country needs is another Bush,” Trump said. “We’ve had it with the Bushes.”
According to Trump, Bush’s brother bears responsibility for appointing U.S. Supreme Court justice John Roberts – who had a “clean shot” to take out Barack Obama’s socialized medicine plan.

“He gets another shot,” Trump said, referring to the court’s recent decision to hear a challenge on Obamacare’s costly subsidies.

I’d say the main difference between the two (minus the obvious intellectual void between Palin and anyone else) is that Trump is doing it for good old fashioned greed, whereas Palin just can’t get enough of the limelight.
