Remember: FITS also told you Tom ERVIN is a Republican, and IS the Real Deal…FITS said Felonious Punk, Tommy Ravenel, was polling at close to 20%…

Carson is FAR removed from the establishment, inside-the-beltway status quo Bull-$#!t…Consultants, as FITS fancies himself to be, HATE candidates like Carson, because when FITS shows up w/ his hand-out…Carson tells him to get F#*ked…He tells FITS, that FITS, and the corrupt charlatans like him – and Sanford- ARE the problem…

If FITS is questioning Carson…it means the middle-of-the-road moderates, like the Triangulating FITS…and the liberals are S#!tt!*g all over themselves because they are scared he has a chance to shake up their stranglehold on politics at is hideous usual….

PS: Carson is the FIRST Black candidate FITS does not “LIKE”…that should tell you all you need to know…

5.5% unemployment, dropping like a stone, hiring Mr. Jones, everyone’s gettin’ to work, the women’s staying home with da kids. Best job growth since the 1990s. Wages going up. 5.5% unemployment. How did Bushy end up again – you yeah – he was like started at 5% in 2001 and ended at 8% in 2009. Now dat’s a record.

$2 gas, 5% unemployment, 18,000 DOW, low inflation, increasing property values, expanded 401K balances – yeah – we’re totally screwed. Next thing you know we’ll all have – gasp – shall I say it – Health Insurance. Oh my God!!!!!

GrandTango January 19, 2015 at 4:23 pm

We HAD health insurance until Obama doubled our premiums to pay for the non-paying…and we now pay for ALL medical…(there is no insurance for the paying)….

And 5% unemployment w/ PT jobs, is the same money (except for all the salary cuts) …and it’s more like 10%-plus REAL unemployment. There are no new jobs, other than in Obamacare, which is collapsing around itself…

Property values are rising tiny amounts (maybe) from a fire sale price…you still lose an average of $30K on a home sale under Obama.

And the stock mkt. is based in healthcare schemes and astronomical oil prices (that are now falling apart like everything else)…so only the RICH can play…the rest of America is STARVING…

You represent yourself as a pretty gullible and mis-lead Dumb@$$…

You’re just repeating what I said, racist. Carson having a harder time getting elected because Obama was black? If someone actually feels that way and votes that way because of it they are racist.

I don’t find it harder to vote for white candidates because Dubya sucked so hard, I don’t find it harder to vote for fat candidates because Cristie is a blowhard, I don’t find it harder to vote for females because Palin is a moron, I don’t find it harder to vote for Indians because Haley and Jindal suck, etc. Why? Because sucky people suck because they are sucky people, not because they’re male or female, black or white, fat or skinny, religious or not, etc.

Your miniscule collection of brain cells may find stereotypes easier to process but the rest of us (conservatives and liberals alike) can distinguish between one black dude and another. If YOU can’t, then YOU are racist. But don’t worry, we know you’re not representative of anybody else. You’re one of a kind, thank goodness.

Some blacks don’t trust Cops because of a perceived collective history. Some people won’t vote for another black president in the short-term because of the perceived history of this President, and some other black politicians.
Likely neither group sees themselves as particularly “racist.” They may just see themselves educated by their experiences.

No, Tim Scott is a pragmatist. I’m sure dems, repubs, any any other persuasion realize that Obama’s shortcomings have played into racial stereotypes and not to the good. Some people will think twice about casting their vote for a person of color, next time around. Demographics are shifting so more people are likely to vote color regardless which likely could override this bias.

I don’t pay an IT guy to fix my car, what does being an accomplished doctor have to do with political competence? This is the human race. Many people have talents in some fields but that doesn’t translate into every field. You can be a talented genius in one field and be a bumbling moron in another. (Ever see how many college professors can’t figure out how to get their laptop to work?)

All his political career will be is regurgitating talking points and red meat, losing miserably, and being invited to Fox News once a week. Nothing going nowhere.

We have political competence now?

Point taken, but guys like this aren’t going to be any different.

Palin perfectly illustrated this. The fact that she had to have “cram sessions” to learn basic political topics and foreign policy? Ouch. And yet the GOP seriously ran with her, and to a certain extent, still does, because a sizable portion of their base still goes crazy for her. She may not have the intellectual accomplishments that Carson does but Carson’s talents will not translate into running the country, he’ll basically be Sarah Palin with a functional brain.

All that’s going to happen is that Carson will appoint a bunch of think tank goons and corporate execs that will essentially coax him into giving in to the establishment every single time, in return for one or two token policies to placate him. Not much different than most of the other people running for Prez in either party really, but at least there are those among the others running that will have a far better chance at getting more accomplished while in office than to be the establishment politicians’ backscratcher.

Sounds to me like this is precisely what makes him perfect presidential material. He’s not part of the same old political class which has been driving a wedge in this country for decades. But from the sound of it, that’s precisely who you’d prefer. That makes you a part of the problem, not a part of the solution.

I know plenty of doctors, and having an MD after your name doesn’t mean much, esp in a hospital, where the doctor will go into a patient’s room for a few minutes, charge an exorbitant fee, while the nurses do most of the work, including answering the question,’when will I see my doctor?’ So,they have to also be savvy at CYA…another failure of our medical system..

Actually, we are a Republic so we are not to be governed by a political class by rather by people who were successful at other things. But you are right it takes more than just success at other things – its takes knowledge of commitment to the principle upon which this nation was founded and high characters. Both of which are lacking in Washington.

This is the typical argument we’re going to hear on Dr. Carson for as long as he’s around.

What precisely were Obama’s credentials for running the government? He ran a campaign? That’s what HE said made him credible.

Nearly ALL of our founding fathers had no political experience, and frankly that’s what I’d like to see us return to. Dump this political class that you want to just continue to keep in power.

This is a joke, right? Obama wasn’t in the Senate for a very long time but he has experience in both politics and law. The two guys he beat were in the same boat, McCain with his experience in Congress and Romney with experience as a governor. Hillary? Gingrich? Santorum? Edwards?

At least in the case of Ron and Rand Paul even they have some political success under their belt.

Nearly ALL of our founding fathers had no political experience

You’re saying that the people who openly pushed for rebellion against the British, were philosophical and ideological thinkers of their time, wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and even participated in battles against the British, had no political experience?

Is this a joke or something?

Yeah, Obama’s credentials really were a joke. A community organizer, a professor of law with very few actual cases, and a record of voting “not present” for his 1 1/2 years in the Senate. If that doesn’t scream political experience I don’t know what does.
And since you are advocating for the more politically experienced person, I guess we can assume you voted for Romney and McCain because as you pointe out… they had FAR more experience running anything than Obama did.
That’s right, the majority of our founding fathers had little to no political experience before founding and heading up our government. Tell me which British political offices did any of them hold prior to the war?

Well, didnt’s most of em hold elected offices as regents or delegates in dez own colonies? Wazn’ts some of dems lawyesr. Let’s visit dat Googely Woogely and see –

John Hancock – From 1760 to 1761, Hancock lived in England while building relationships with customers and suppliers. Hancock emerged as a leading political figure in Boston just as tensions with Great Britain were increasing. In March 1765, he was elected as one of Boston’s five selectmen, an office previously held by his uncle for many years. (College – Harvard)

Witherspoon – Witherspoon finally accepted an invitation (having turned one down in 1766) to become President and head professor of the small Presbyterian College of New Jersey in Princeton. (College – St. Andrews – England)

Patrick Henry – Henry attended local schools for a few years, and then was tutored by his father. He tried to start in business but was not successful. Qualifying as a lawyer in 1760. He read the law with an established firm.

Jefferson – Jefferson studied law in colonial Virginia from 1768 to 1773 with his friend and mentor, George Wythe. Besides practicing law, Jefferson represented Albemarle County in the Virginia House of Burgesses beginning on May 11, 1769 and ending June 20, 1775

The Framers of the Constitution had extensive political experience. By 1787, four-fifths (41 individuals), were or had been members of the Continental Congress. Nearly all of the 55 delegates had experience in colonial and state government, and the majority had held county and local offices.
Oh my, my chile. Seems dem Founders was alots like Barack, wid a law degree and local politican stuff. Seems some of dems wents to Harvard too, just like Barack. In a wayz, he’s likes a Foundin’ fadder for de new generations. Doncha think?

Not a joke. Know your history. Presidents without political experience include Eisenhower and Washington. I could toss Lincoln in as well with an asterisk. He served half of a one year term in Congress eight years before running for President. aside from that he was a hick and a country lawyer. It was only when he took up the mantle of anti-slavery and made a speech in the Cooper Union Hall in New York did he attain national notoriety. So people have been very successful coming in and running things. They have to be smart, honest, have integrity, and guts.
