A couple of Congressmen selling their votes for campaign contributions… Wow, stop the presses! This is real news!

Everyone except 25 people sold out!

…or maybe 25 people don’t dictate the direction of a party. One of those two. Probably the former, though. Probably.

Maybe the 25 sold out to different people. Makes life simpler if you believe everyone was bought out.

They’re hypocrites. Pharisees. Liars who are willing to say anything to get elected.

So, Republicans?

Many of them do in both parties. Democrats however take it a step further and associate themselves with our domestic and foreign enemies to get elected.

A country is then held hostage.

I’ve often referred to GrandTango as Dick Dastardly, you make a great Muttley. I feel like a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons when reading your comments.

I always wondered what you did on Saturday mornings when the government agency you work for is closed. You never post. You watch cartoons!!! LMAO!!!

I think of you as Wiley E. Coyote-figure it out.

What’s the problem with working with the government agency? At least Smirks works. Isn’t that what you want?

Good point. Just hate the taxpayers may be footing the tab for his public display of ignorance on blogs. :-)

Boehner hysteria? I just saw Democrat Senator Joe Manchain attack Obama as being an obstructionist on legislation and telling him to get the fuck out of the way or he was switching parties!!!

LMAO!!! You liberal socialists sit on the sidelines and watch Pelosi and Reid relegated to cleaning toilets and ordering lunch while middle America and the Republicans save this country from Obamacare and the unconstitutional E/O’s this lawless pResident has inflicted on this country.

Yawn! Did you say something Dearie?

Gee, you think Manchin’s “principles” have something to do with West Virginia’s swing to the GOP under President Obama? Don’t you think he has one eye on his re-election prospects? He’s part of the problem — one of the class of professional politicians who seek office as a permanent job and will do or say anything to stay there.

Reply
Flip Coscoe January 8, 2015 at 11:08 am

Smart man. Ask poor ole Mary in Louisiana. Manchin will become a Republican or he will lose that seat. I was surprised about how ‘personal’ his attacks on Obama were. You get a sense he really doesn’t like or respect Obama. Go figure. :-)

Life is good!

Manray9 January 8, 2015 at 11:39 am

West Virginia’s swing to the GOP just happened to coincide with Obama’s election. Coincidence?

Reply
Flip Coscoe January 8, 2015 at 11:58 am

It did. He is trying to put the coal industry out of business.

Native Ink January 8, 2015 at 2:09 pm

Duh. His personal attacks against the president play well in West Virginia. He probably called up Obama afterwards and they had a good laugh about it.

You are probably right. That was a real ‘knee slapper’ for Dems last November 4th.

Yeap: Has new knee pads for his next white house visit.

Boehner is an Obama accomodater? I’m sure the president would be surprised to learn that.

What has Obama gotten through the House?

Reply
Bible Thumper January 8, 2015 at 7:33 pm

This whole fuss is silly. Republicans and Democrats meet in their own caucuses to decide the leadership. They can air leadership disputes then. Afterwards you go out in full session and vote for your parties leadership. That’s called party discipline. Without it you accomplish nothing.
