“Fairness” is the meaningless Leftist battle that subjectively can define literally any topic they wish.

It has as much substance & meaning as “Limited gov’t” does to the Right.

I would be in complete support of legalizing gambling on border counties (get all that money from NC and GA) and horry county (get all that money from yankies), then any indian reservations. I would oppose gambling in beaufort or charleston though

The national democrat party and committee has written off S.C. It’s basically unwinnable and they consider it a waste of precious money and resources that are better spent in purple states.
To make matters worse, the idea that you could let the likes of Alvin Greene slip through the net (not that anyone was going to beat DeMint anyway) was a further demonstration that the state party is disarray and not worthy of assistance from the national guys.
No matter how bad the quality of life in this state is or how corrupt our politicians are….people just love voting for the GOP time and again…like lambs being led to the slaughter.

Your hillbillies see a liberal through a one-way mirror, and see that the liberal yells in pain when the hillbilly hurts himself… soon, the hillbilly is cutting off his own limbs and putting his own eyes out.

The highway dept should have a maintenance fund. If we have more traffic on the roads than before, then the roads maintenance fund basis would increase from more auto taxes, property taxes and sales taxes. So someone please tell me why we need to raise tax percentages for road maintenance.

One of the Dims is trying to run through a “delapidated properties ” bill. I would guess it would be subjective and bring on the “paint Police” type of thinking. Your dilapidated property could be my shed. Allowing the real estate developers to determine who is robbed of their property and who is not. A really bad law, but in SC it could easily pass.
