Looks like South Carolina is striving to move up in the rankings of most corrupt states.

screw you Tom..most of the people in SC are very good God fearing people..you a real great person running ya damn mouth..furthermore, we put Trey Gowdy and Time Scott in Washington..Trey is the most honest man there..so shut up!
Another disappointment. The Pitchfork Ben Tillman state constitution that created a weak executive branch has been bad for this state. Reform should occur making this state more like the rest where the governor is stronger but the government is therefore also more accountable. You’d know where the buck stops. But Haley’s poor choices for cabinet have really damaged the reform movement. Maybe we’re just too small of a pond to have any big fish worth a damn who would take such a cabinet level job.
Haley’s poor cabinet choices follow Sanford’s poor cabinet choices. That means 12 years wasted, agencies treading water with 4 more to go…unless, she’s indicted first.
‘Reform’ will never work in this state because we are not going to do any better electing governors than we have done since 2002. The 2014 election showed that. SC voters will never hold a governor accountable for incompetence and bad, bad judgment.
For a governor to be re-elected with the cabinet failures she has had is incomprehensible. How exactly do SC voters decide who to vote for? Success in the management of state government is certainly NOT on their radar.
Unmitigated disaster First Steps director Susan DeVenny and deputy Dan Wuori need to be on the chopping block list too!
Oh, good lord, eugh… That face… Which is worse, Koller or Thomas? I don’t even know.
The governor accepted her resignation this morning. Scooter is taking the reigns until a replacement is named. She didn’t even make the announcement herself, but then the day is not yet over.
It’s hit the news — guessing the moles have turned into rats-in-waiting as witnesses for the future lawsuits. Once the dam is opened, as they say.
If any of the stories are to be believed coming out of the cesspool over at DPPPS then the Gypsy Queen will have to appoint 8 women, a midget and a palm reader to replace Cockroach Thomas
As for Thomas’ lifeline being POTUS, that fucking Cockroach is not only a lame duck he is about to do a three dead duck cartwheels into the Lake of Oblivion
’ appoint 8 women, a midget and a palm reader’
There must be a joke in there somewhere…..?
There was alot of reverse discrimination going on there and is also going on at another agency. And multiple lawsuits..good luck taxpayers.
This to…………..
A week or two i read in the Spartanburg H/J that the head of The Department of LLR left as well and gave no reason for his/her resignation……………..
Just up and quit as far as I can tell…………….
Then there is the stellar job SLED (under Chief Kerr’s ‘leadership”) is doing with the two year old “investigation” of the SC DOR hacking fiasco!!!
Two fucking years without a smattering of an answer as to who did it while millions of affected tax payers have to look over their shoulders for the next what; 30 YEARS OR MORE?????
Way to go Queen Namrata!!!!! The royal highness is on the ball fer sure!!!!!!
I thought most resignations happened on Fridays…Wednesday at lunch?
