The technical name for smells fishy is “probable cause”. Is there probable cause to suspect Sanford took a bribe here. I think so. It certainly should be investigated, but will it? I expect Darrel Issa to hold a hearing on it. When hell freezes over.

This just don’t pass the smell test. In my opinion there needs to be an investigation of the Sheheen and Ervin campaigns and find out how long they had been working together (if they were :-) )and if Ervin received any financial benefit from dropping out of the race.
