I wish all these mushy middle moderates would take a long walk off a short plank. If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything. Why is it asking too much of a politician to do that ? When was deal making a virtue?? Back when government worked for people, you know, solving problems that were not profitable to solve. The current Republican position is that government IS the problem so of course they have zero interest in making it work for anyone. Except to eliminate any regulations that might stand in a corporations profit making way.
