“JUSTICE …” D.C. STYLE
By FITSNEWS || Two years after claiming the allegations against him were “absolutely and completely false,” a longtime Democratic congressional aide has pleaded guilty to drugging and raping two women in 2010.
He won’t see the inside of a jail cell, though. Thirty-seven-year-old Donny Ray Williams Jr. – the former staff director for the U.S. Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee – will instead get five years of probation for his crimes.
Wait … what?
Let’s get this straight … if you’re a powerful congressional staffer you can drug and rape women (then lie about it) and avoid jail time?
Yes … that’s exactly how it works.
For those of you who view things through the prism of race, Williams is black. The Washington Post – which briefly and dispassionately reported on his plea deal – did not disclose the ethnicity of his victims.
Does that matter to us? No … but it does to some people.
The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee is currently led by U.S. Sen. Tom Carper – but Republicans will name their own chairman when they take control of the Senate in January. Prior to working for Carper, Williams worked for committees led by Senators Joseph Lieberman and Mary Landrieu.
We’re sure they’ll be joining Al Sharpton in condemning this miscarriage of justice any second now …

So . . . just use a drug instead of force and it’s white collar rape and you don’t go to jail. Terrible result.
I say put his skills to good use and make his probation require TSA gate “service”.
His sentence needs to be withdrawn and a new one imposed. It is not uncommon for this to happen in cases like this. All across the entire USA, people who do things like this sack of shit did goes to prison – and for years, I might add! … This story is going to really rub the womans right advocacy groups in such a bad way, they could burn down capital hill. I mean, this is really really bad.
But, but it was an accident………10 counts of accidents.
The Judge and Prosecutor likely were passed envelopes stuffed with cash. That has allegedly even happened in South Carolina as someone once told me. Money is power.
Doh! … for a split second there I thought ya-all were talkin’ about Bill Cosby.
