What! You’re not going to write an article about the Gamecocks being bowl eligible. 6-5
It’s a good thing the Mighty SEC had their late season Patsy Saturday of they would be 5-6.
yeah, because that powerhouse of Georgia St was so good.
What does that have to do with the Mighty SEC late season Patsy Saturday, jackass?
Well exactly the same your quirky little comment had to do with the actual story you posted on you retarded hypocrite. By the way I guess its a good thing your tiny taters actually scheduled Georgia State or else they would have been swept by that state this year. I guess Saturday we shall see if SC state was on your schedule for the same reason huh?
You Gamecock retards are so predictable, what makes you think I’m Clemson fan? I think it’s just as despicable that Clemson played a Patsy this late in the season also. My team lost to a Top 25 team by two points, we haven’t been rated all year and that’s fine with me, there’s more to my life than football.
BTW I hope Clemson wins.
Iowa?
Ya got me, :) but I have said it before.
Gator fan, even in a year like this! Go Gators!
We’ve split and I’ll give you a pass since the Old Ball Coach is gone, not one of my favorite people.
There are 38 bowl games this year, 76 of 128 teams will make it to a bowl game, everyone gets a trophy.
It must be like playing Division 2 basketball huh? I mean if you couldn’t play for one of the 68 teams to make it to the NCAA tournament, the 32 teams to play in the NIT the 32 teams to play in the CIT or the 16 teams in the CBI tournaments, you have to play D2 to try to go to the post season
Wow…How did FITS get this BREAKING news scoop? What a CRACK and hardworking “journalist” (: …Got a couple SC @ CU post on SCPSD…great reads for the more in-tune sports fan in SC…
Former Coastal Carolina University quarterback Tyler Thigpen, who was inducted into the school’s athletics hall of fame last week, is facing driving under the influence charges after being arrested at some point overnight, police said.
Horry County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Jeff Benton said that Thigpen was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 1:55 p.m. Sunday and posted $1,000 cash or surety bond shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday.
Benton said he did not know where the incident occurred or which jurisdiction made the arrest.
He said he believed Thigpen was arrested overnight and held before being transported to J. Reuben Long for booking.
Thigpen was a star for Coastal Carolina during the program’s first four seasons from 2003-06, establishing records that still stand and leading the Chants to immediate success with three Big South championships, a 2006 NCAA FCS playoff appearance and countless clutch plays and big moments.
He was the first play in the Big South league to be selected in the NFL draft, being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings and most recently was affiliated with the Cleveland Browns.

Thought I would ‘break’ it for FITS…:-) CCU has always been a dirty and disgusting program, in my opinion.
Just another example of the type of student/athlete they produce. Google Jerome Simpson.
Cliff Ellis is a good fit, if you will.
Coastal receiver Simpson charged with simple assault
By staff of The Sun News
Coastal Carolina wide receiver Jerome Simpson was charged Thursday with simple assault and battery.
The senior All-American appeared in Conway magistrate court on Thursday morning, court officials said. Judge Bradley Mayers set Simpson’s bond at $1,000 and ordered him to avoid contact with the victim. Mayers granted a personal recognizance bond, meaning Simpson did not have to post any money.
The warrant was filed Thursday morning, according to Horry County’s public index.
Simpson will play in Coastal Carolina’s opener at Delaware State on Saturday, athletic department spokesman John Martin said.

COVINGTON, Ky. – Four months after marijuana was delivered to Jerome Simpson’s home, the Bengals wide receiver was indicted on a drug charge Thursday in Kenton County.

Bengals WR Jerome Simpson caught 50 passes for 725 yards and four TDs in 2011.
Sponsored LinksSimpson was indicted on one count of trafficking marijuana in excess of eight ounces. An arraignment date in Kenton Circuit Court was not immediately set. The charge is punishable by one to five years in prison.
Federal authorities swooped on his Crestview Hills townhouse in September and seized a package containing 2.5 pounds of California marijuana being shipped to the residence. Inside the home investigators found about six more pounds of marijuana, scales and smoking devices.
and then…
“Suspended Vikings receiver Jerome Simpson now has no team after he finishes his three-game suspension. The team announced today that they were cutting him after new July charges, one of them being marijuana possession, came to light.
Ben Goessling of ESPN found out that Simpson has a Nov. 3 court date for a July 7 citation in Bloomington, Minn.:
According to Goessling’s report, Simpson wasn’t arrested, but he did violate his Jan. 2 probation that required him to not have any future alcohol-related, drug-related, or traffic offenses.
Simpson was scheduled to return after Week 3 when his suspension, resulting from a DUI arrest last November, ended. It was his second suspension; in 2012, the wide receiver was banned for three games after having 2.5 pounds of weed shipped to his house in a controlled delivery.
But with new charges, Simpson could be handed another suspension by the league. Coach Mike Zimmer said he didn’t know about Simpson’s charges until he was informed by Vikings PR today, and so the team didn’t value him as worth the hassle. The Vikings have enough on their plate right now, anyway.”

Thought you might want to do a story about CCU athletics??? ” :-)
Cale Gundy former OU QB and brother of Mike Gundy head coach at OSU. Wonder how those holiday meals are after the bedlam match up each year?
