Ever since Coach Spurrier openly longed for Muschamp to be our new Defense Coordinator, it seems Muschamp does not want to win games. Can Muschamp bring our defense into top ten status? Yes. Can Muschamp work with Steve Jr if Big Daddy retires in a year or so? Yes. Look, the HBC’s knee has been getting worse since Mauk ran him over against Missouri. Our offense is good and getting better. Steve Jr and Charlie Mangus are definitely the future for our Football program. If we land Muschamp as DC next year, our school will be the perennial contender in the East and get into the four team playoffs. My name is Thomas, and I approve Steve Jr to take over the HBC spot and hiring Muschamp as Defense Coordinator.
Thomas, I love Gamecock football, however, if they don’t find a quarterback next year they are going to be cellar dwellars. If those two back ups were any good they would be starting. I see high school QB’s that show me more than those two back ups against Furman!
We have great QB’s in line for next year. I think the rub is that Mitch can call his own plays at the scrimmage line. It has been awhile since we had a QB of his caliber. I hope they can work it out where Mitch can have the latitude to read the defense and audible the plays.
