PRESIDENT WATCHES AS CROWD LEAVES HIS RALLY …

By FITSNEWS || Back in 2008 then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama drew throngs when he spoke … including an estimated 75,000 people at one campaign rally in Oregon.

Everybody loved the promise of “hope and change,” but the reality has proven a bit difficult.

Obama’s crowds have been dwindling of late along with his popularity … and during a speech in Maryland over the weekend one crowd actually dwindled right in front of his eyes.

“Steady stream of people leaving Maryland rally continues as Obama speaks,” a reporter at the event tweeted.  “It’s noticeable and noisy.”

Obama was in Maryland – a reliably Democratic state – to campaign for lieutenant governor Anthony Brown, who is running for governor.

“Early departures of crowd members while he spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity,” Reuters noted of the exodus at Obama’s Maryland event.

How did the “campaigner-in-chief” – who has made precious few such appearances during the current election cycle – respond to being dissed?

“Obama either ignored or didn’t notice the movement of attendees out of the event,” The Free Beacon reported.

Nice …

Obama told those who stayed for his speech that Brown would “fight on behalf of those who are middle-class, folks who are working hard to get into the middle class, people who work hard every single day.”

Yeah … about them.

“It’s not enough just for you to vote,” Obama added. “You’ve got to get your family to vote. You’ve got to get your friends to vote. You’ve got to get your coworkers to vote. You’ve got to get that cousin Pookie sitting at home on the couch — he’s watching football right now instead of being here at the rally — you’ve got to talk to him and let him know it is not that hard to exercise the franchise that previous generations fought so hard to obtain.”

Right … because he’s all about helping “Pookie.”

Finally, it appears that some people are waking up to the fact that the Liar-In-Chief has anything but good intentions for this country. Better late than never.

I did vote third-party and have no shame in that. Voting for his NWO equivalent is not something I consider to be geared toward fixing the problem.

All the pols want everyone to vote badly, because when you don’t, it’s a giant middle finger to them.

The vote gives them some credibility. When you don’t vote, you’re saying “fuck you, you people aren’t even worth my time”…which bothers sociopaths/NPD’s.

Plus withholding your vote is the ultimate middle finger to the system as a whole too.

There’s a reason voting in terms of % is declining in the US, it’s in response to a failing government that doesn’t help anyone but itself.

Rothbard coined it well, “Rational disinterest.”

It’s rational to not waste your time on people/system that is going to rape you no matter what.

In the end, I’m jumping out of this stacked deck, charade of a process and will now await the apocalypse of this nation. Let me be clear, there is NOTHING that an individual conservative voter can do to stop the abyss; thus, why delay it? It would be better to spend the day browsing for HKs, Glocks, or Walthers.

I agree with you 100%. Further, considering that we don’t even live in a real democracy anymore – case in point, in 2006, 78% of South Carolinians voted for a Gay marriage ban; nevertheless, we’ll have that crap here in weeks – it’s no wonder that people no longer care. Liberal (or statist) lawyer types spout that we live in a “Republic” or by the “Rule of Law” instead of “Majority Rule”. Polish that turd anyway you want jokers, I’ll call it by its real name, “Tyranny” In the meantime, I’m no longer voting in accordance with what ‘fta” is spouting above; yep, in order to give the status quo the finger.

Fortunately there were other reporters who covered the real story:

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/10/obama-speaks-packed-rally-overflow-crowd

What they failed to observe was why some people were leaving. See, there was an overflow room. President Obama spoke to them first. And then they left because they had seen what they had come to see.

Sarah Jones at PoliticusUSA:

“So I’m going to make a long speech in there. But I had to come to the folks who didn’t get a seat. Because this is a group right here that is truly enthusiastic,” Obama said to much applause from the excited overflow crowd, which POOL reported “included more than a few shrieking women and girls.”

But, I guess it sells better with Will’s spin.

COLUMBIA, SC — Months after saying she did not see a political benefit to her husband’s military deployment, Gov. Nikki Haley debuted a new campaign advertisement on Monday that features Michael Haley’s year-long National Guard assignment to Afghanistan.

Capt. Michael Haley served with a unit that educated local governments and the Afghan equivalent of the U.S. Department of Agriculture about sharing information with farmers on growing food crops and irrigation.
