Yawn, my 16 gig Kindle Fire HDX cost $150 on sale and will do everything I need with no problem. Now that Amazon has added the streaming “music on demand” to the existing “video on demand” the entertainment value of the IPad isn’t as big an advantage as it once was.

I have a iPad air, I like it, but it was given to me. No way I would buy one.
Before I got the air, I had a fire, fire hd and had just bought a fire hdx for my wife.
It’s hard to beat Amazon.
So are the new iMacs … I’m getting one, maybe two.
Just ordered my 128GB iPad Air 2, and since my current 27″ iMac is the 2009 vintage, it’s definitely time for an upgrade to the new 5K iMac. Yowza!!

Guessing: both work/hard/play/hard and I have to use computers in business. It is better, easier to use a big Mac computer for everything in graphics, writing, printing, etc., … and especially so for those of us who have to do so daily … and are more senior of persuasion with dimming eye sight. (I have and iPad and iPhones at home, as well, and have big screen WinPCs to at the office for email, accounting, order entry, process control, etc.)

Big announcement, buy the new iPad Air 2, which isn’t any better than the original but .2mm smaller and still doesn’t have a USB/mini-USB port.
… the power connector/charger cable does have data in/out to a USB ported PC, but it is hardly ever needed ’cause of wifi & blue tooth.
