Usually you have to join the Navy to see the world at taxpayers expense. Good for him. He found a way to do it on the taxpayer dime without risking life and limb. Obviously we are comp’ing his meals too.

State employees are required to use state contract vendors for office supplies, why can legislators use whoever they want?

Good question!

Probably because it’s harder to spread favors around otherwise.

Out here in Taxifornia, the legislators can spend a whole lot more on fancy office trappings, so of course they do.

There are several warehouses filled with slightly used office furniture that most of the elected simply cast off or ignore when getting re-elected, too … the original costs and now the storage costs of all that fancy stuff is a Taxifornia taxpayer burden.

Yes, new stuff is always in order for Taxifornia “officials”, elected or not. They all get travel allowances, too, plus new cars, even if their home base is within sight of the Capital building.

The Supreme Court denied to hear appeals to uphold gay marriage bans. That means homos can get married in SC.

How long have people been crying over term limits, recall elections, & recorded votes?

Your masters have other plans, so grab the pitchforks or plan on whining forever.

The Legislature in South Carolina is all corrupt and those who claim to be Republicans are bigger crooks than Democrats.

Hmm…….it looks like Bill Sandifer has not been reading his NSA monthly “legislative memo”…….

DOes this guy not understand if there are tools to financially track how ISIS funds their operation that those same tools can track how “Sandifer” gets his new “sandals”..?

Lets hope he reviews some documents concerning the SCSU board meeting notes….
