(COLUMBIA, S.C.) South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Hugh Abbott Rucker (DOB: 12/17/1960) of Aynor, S.C. on one (1) count connected to soliciting a minor for sex. The Sumter Police Department, a member of the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, made the arrest.

Rucker travelled to Shaw Air Force Base to meet what he believed to be a minor female to engage in sexual activity on the afternoon of September 29, 2014. He had previously communicated the purpose of the meeting was to have sex.

Rucker was charged with one (1) count of Criminal Solicitation of a Minor (§16-15-342), a felony offense punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment and Sex Offender Registry. He was assigned a personal surety bond of $10,000.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office. Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.

You think that’s bad, I was just reading about a barbecue festival taking place this month in SC. They had an ad in the local paper that boasted how a local business was going to sponsor “corn hole” for the kids. WTF?

Some of this stuff is really out in the open.

No one under the age of 21 and/or under 200lbs should be allowed to cornhole..
It’s a rough sport.

We get it Wilson. Your kind routinely gets cooperation from cell phone carriers, internet providers, google, youtube, banks, credit card issuers, email providers, and have an unlimited budget via federal grants to investigate, indict, prosecute anyone you desire. Do what you gotta do, but remember this, you break the law to enforce the law. Prison is not so bad considering that real world conditions offer nothing better. Law enforcement has been empowered with real unconstitutional authority. Citizens can not match the costs to file challenges or depend on impartial rulings any more than you can stop mental illness. Do your duty…the human condition is a great opportunity to make a career and a profit. Prison is a great way to catch up on our stories and reading. A win/win situation for all.

Why is this on fits? Sure the action was a crime and reprehensible Sure the guy is an idiot since everyone knows that all purported 13 year old girls are really 45 yo male police officers of some kind’. But why are the girls always 13? Is 14 some sort or graded age of consent so they have to go down to 13 or the entrapment won’t work as well? But mainly why is this fits news material? Was the guy some political big cheese? If not, he should go into politics now and be rav’s running mate. He has shown himself a good fit.
