I still contend that if there was a way to trace the origins of the “contributions” to the green movement you would find that most of their money comes from our enemies in various forms. Whether it is foreign oil or other entities it seems that each and every time progress is addressed they try to put every stumbling block in it’s way possible. Can you imagine trying to build the interstate highway system today with all the “regulatory compliance” that would be required ? Who benefits from the closing of all the coal fired power plants due to emissions regulation ? Just recently we have become the leader in natural gas but the greens have been after coal for a long time. The last round of regulations from the Employment Prevention Administration have affected diesel engines, making them far more costly to buy and operate than ever, with very little improvement in emissions. It just makes them cost more. After all they get their food at the grocery store.
The dude’s an executive director and makes 5 figures? That was actually a bit anti-climactic. Maybe the dude isn’t worth that much, I have no clue, but I was sorta expecting in the $100k range or higher.
Lol exactly. $73k is a pretty good job, but he’s not exactly getting rich off of wildife protection either.
