Does anyone do any fact checking anymore? The Secretary of State’s office offers numerous filings online–over 40 corporate filings, uniform commercial code filings, and charitable fundraising filings. Either Deerin does not know the office she is running for or she is a liar.
That is counting the forms available through SC Business One Stop – which is not the Secretary of State’s office.
It’s 2014, Hammond has been in office for 12 years. He has had time to put all forms online if he really thought it was important. Instead, he shows up for work two days a week for part of the day and leaves. Doesn’t sound like he takes the job too seriously.
Hi Ginny. SCBOS is a collaboration of numerous agencies and SOS staff supports it. There are 9 charities forms alone available for online filing through the Secretary of State’s website. As a nonprofit insider, you think you would know that. But then again, there’s that liar side of you that keeps showing up. Having your grandkids lie about how often Secretary Hammond comes to work was a real low, even for you.

Just look at FITS…he worked for Sanford, but never met a Democrat he didn’t “like” especially if it’s an African-American. And he’s never met a TRUE Republican, that he “liked.”

It does to me. Look at Sanford for example. Over the past 20 years he has cashed millions of dollars in taxpayer checks, and what to do we have to show for it. A state the nation treats a a laughing stock.
Work two days a week? Why when one can work 4 hours a week visiting welfare, unemployment and food stamp vendors offices and get more?
In too many other states Club For Growth is really just a Club For Rinos. Republicrats use this PAC to herd unsuspecting bidness donors into the business as usual fold. But anyone can go to the Secretary of State’s web site and see that all UCC forms (UCC-1, UCC-3, UCC-5, UCC-11) can be filed online. All charities forms can be filed online – the registration statement, exemption form, annual financial report form, joint financial report form, and a notice of solicitation. Citizens can also search boards and commissions and notaries online. These are some of the improvements which Mark Hammond has brought to the office.
