I find it curious that the article and ads vanished immediately after the news of the feds snooping around.

Come on now, everyone. Let’s not whip out the tin-foil hats just yet. The feds have a long history of having to slide down to crooked ol’ SC to clean house once in a while. Did LG “sick the feds” or local law enforcement on TR on any of his several other previous run-ins with the law, too? Conspiracy theories don’t become you.
There is a story out there, don’t know if it is true, that T Rav’s lawyers had got his charge down to simple possession (misdemeanor) and Graham’s “people” intervened and got it jacked back up to possession with intent (felony) just to keep him from causing any damage to LG. Again I just heard this but it sounds like something Graham would do. No matter how much some of us right thinkers loath LG he is not stupid.
That’s a whole lotta risk for not much reward, and just not the way the fed system works. State level solicitors- maybe (but even that would be stretch).

Sad thing is, they went to the casino somewhat knowingly(CaLPERS) because they are underfunded long term….so it was dubious to start.
My mom has a CaLPERS pension…I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up having to take care of her in 10 years financially. She doesn’t think so, but reading their annuals line by line is a scary event, and I gather few people do it.
