I wonder a couple of things about this situation:
#1 Does any card carrying member of the GOP have even one ounce of shame over this?
#2 If any of them do, will they actually do something about it?
Or will they just sit by, like all the “anti-war” Democrats do while the Black Jesus drone strikes the world and announces new land offenses?
God knows I did my part. The GOP has been an embarrassment from my perspective. Harrell will not be the only one not going back to Columbia.

It doesn’t matter which GOP folks are supporting Harrell – there is one Democratic Party operative that Harrell must have to survive – Jean Hoefer Toal. She will decide which judge hears the motions and the trial. Just like when “they” got word Judge Hood was not as liberal leaning with Harrell as say, Judge Manning, you remember who came riding in at Toal’s direction. Let’s see if Toal will protect Harrell like he did her in February or whether she will let him slide since he has already paid in advance….

Whenever a U.S. politician says he’s standing with you, you get lip service, then you get completely screwed as the U.S. abandons you. So, I think this headline is good news for SC and bad news for Harrell. And “stands with” is almost as trite and meaningless as “speaks volumes.”
The Statewide Republican Party in SC is no better than the Democrats. It is too bad we don’t have a Third Party strong enough to take both Democrats and so called Republicans on.

Harrell has enough time to fabricate, generate , forge, alter, and destroy spending records and the like in his possession and control. Don’t you fools know he has the type character to do this? Don’t put anything past the psychopath. There are too many running scared of going down with him. They are probing and trying to get people inside the Atty General’s office to secretly give them information as to what is going on.
If ever there was a time to kick a man when he’s down, this was it. Force him to step aside and even if he’s found not guilty (a possibility with Momma Toal around) he’d still be out of our hair for at least one cycle.

Can we please investigate the flights that he actually paid for himself? It seems logical the flights he was sure to pay for were the ones where he was doing something illegal.

Read the indictment. This isn’t petty theft or Ard-like stupidicity. This isnt even Nikki Haley “everybody’s doin’ it” or Mark Sanford “the Rules of Life don’t apply to me” shit. This is real live, Robert Ford go to jail, do not pass go, misfeasance. Not even sure that a corrupt judicial system he helped create can save him now, although don’t underestimate Gedney, Bart and Bobby.The Prosecutor is being kind to characterize these as misdemeanors. He has to go before he takes others with him. In fact, that might be his only salvation – confess and rat out on a few lesser rodents, and we will let you stay on the skreet.
