DRUGGED OUT WORKFORCE?
This website has been consistently adamant in favor of the decriminalization of marijuana and other drugs. Government should not be wasting its time or our money investigating, arresting, prosecuting or incarcerating individuals for recreational drug use – or for the private production and distribution of these substances.
What consenting adults do behind closed doors is their own damn business …

Drug use among South Carolina workers is back in the news this week – thanks to reports coming out of the heavily taxpayer-subsidized Boeing aircraft manufacturing facility in North Charleston, S.C.
But from whence did the “drugged out S.C. worker” narrative originate?
Yeah … that was S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley.
Back in September 2011, Haley appeared at a Rotary Club in Lexington, S.C. During her speech, she offered up a bizarre claim regarding applicants for positions at the government’s Savannah River Site (SRS).
“Down on River Site, they were hiring a few hundred people, and when we sat down and talked to them – this was back before the campaign – when we sat down and talked to them, they said of everybody they interviewed, half of them failed a drug test, and of the half that was left, of that 50 percent, the other half couldn’t read and write properly,” Haley told the group.
The only problem with that statement (other than the fact it violated Haley’s “speak no ill of SC” rule)?
It was patently false.
SRS immediately rebuked the claim, and Haley – after initially doubling down – eventually backed off of its veracity, too.
Stoned or not, one thing we do know about South Carolina’s workforce is this: It is currently holding at a record low percentage of the state’s working age population.

It was synthetic marijuana according to WLTX, which isn’t quite the same thing.
When they searched his SUV, they found what they believed were chemicals used to make meth and a synthetic form of marijuana, and what appeared to be bleach, muriatic acid, blood, and possible body fluids in the car.

That’s what this was about. Per the real media, DSS was investigating and I bet they wanted him to go for a drug screen that he knew he would fail big time. He thought he would lose the kids back to their adulterous mother and he would have to pay child support. So, he killed them.

While at a shitty hunting lodge down that way one of the “guides” ( drive you to a tree stand by the river) told me that he was employed as a security guard at the site. He said once per year they were allowed to conduct a deer hunt on the plant site to thin the population. After the hunt all of the deer were piled up and then sorted by deformities. He never knew where they went after that but they were not allowed to keep any kills.
He also said that every 5 years that they conducted “war games” against federal teams who would try to infiltrate the site. According to him these rag tag security guards defeated the Federal team so badly once that a fight broke out at the debriefing meeting. It sounds incredible but this guy seemed pretty straight about it all like it was no big deal.
He didn’t seem high and I think he could read and write but I can’t be certain.
