Cue the warmongers.
Lindsey Graham, what city in America is at risk of imminent attack if we don’t go all out against the rest of the world?
Tell us Lindsey. What does you puppetmaster war machine donor base suggest?
(guy who will be crying his eyes out when gas shoots to $15 a gallon when ISIS invades Saudi Arabia)
Fear is always a good tactic.
I’m afraid you have something there.
There’s also Isis, the metal band, I used to listen to back in high school. They play some mean riffs. They’ve been around longer than Isis the terrorists.
Yeah, when Obama pulled a RonPaul…all bets were off for stamping out the hideously Evil..
Brutal murderers just LOVE Dumb@$$ Liberal-Tarians, and Democrat politicians. RonPaul or Obama could likely get 95% of the vote in an ISIS election.
LMAO!!!!! Rand would only get 80%. :-)
Good point Sandi: I’m afraid Rand is ruining his career, w/ that ignorant “bury-your-head-and-molest-me -from -behind” policy.
Even if Rand figures it out, and tried to denounce isolationism, people will not trust him. And ISIS sure made RonPaul, Sanford, FITS and Obama look like the blind fools they are.
Rand has been busy blaming the police in Ferguson. He ain’t gonna figure it out.
Have not heard that, but I thought the guy was smarter than that. The whole race Bull-$#!t is backfiring on the Democrats. Even Obama is backtracking, talking about how he supports the peaceful protests…knowing D*#n well he was All-In with the idiots until all the facts back the police, and not the liars and Obama-voting thugs.
Yep.50 businesses have been damaged in the nine days of Democrat Party occupation of Ferguson. Some have closed and many are open for limited hours. Really sad.
Now that’s Dope and Change…
The old saying : “when the cat is away the mice will play” comes to mind here. When Obummer withdrew all our military from Iraq, not only was all the men and materials wasted but when we are forced by the enemies of freedom to go back it will be even worse. Stupid liberals. The same thing will eventually happen in Afghanistan unless there are some changes in Washington. The liberaltarians are just as bad, They want to have a hands off policy till TSHTF then look around in amazement and ask “What happened?” You got caught with your drawers down, that’s what. Like 911.
They won’t ask what happened, they’ll find someone to blame and have a cover story ready and waiting.
Bush’s invasion of Iraq is working out just so wonderfully isn’t it?
But McCain did say it may take 100 years.
Sic Willie sounds just like Chamberlain. They only want Iraq and Syria, right? It is just lebensraum, right? Let them have it and they will be satisfied, right?
Liberals/liberaltarians never learn.
FITS wants to give Syria and Iraq to ISIS. Obama gave Libya to ISIS and tried to give Egypt to the muslim brotherhood.Obama, Ron and Rand Paul wanted to give Israel to Hamas.
See the pattern? You are correct, again.
Ahhh, it’s America’s fault, they are only mean to people because America made them mean, they would gladly prefer to just lay in the shade and watch the clouds go by if only we wouldn’t be mean to them and force them to be meanies.
If we leave them alone and let them get it out of their system in Iraq, they’ll stop, they won’t go anywhere else. They’ll be as strong as they want to be and they’ll leave everyone else alone. They’ll just lay in the shade until the next time some imperialistic prick bothers them.
As I recall these heartless pricks came into Iraq from Syria so I don’t see them stopping at Iraq’s border, they blame America like some blacks blame whites for all their problems. These dorks would be slaughtering people regardless of what America did. Not saying America is clean in all this but blaming America only buys those pathetic pieces of shit more time to organize and plan future endeavors.
Thank you, George W, Dick Cheney, and Paul Wolfowitz. Mission Accomplished, right?
Mission Accomplished, right?muslim Obama has indeed accomplished his mission of installing the radical terrorists in the middle east. He tried to help Hamas destroy Israel but muslim Obama scared the shit out of Egypt and Saudi Arabia and cut that off.
George & co removed dictators and began stabilizing the region. Obama pulled American support out, and ISIS arose in the power vacuum. It was not Bush who made a grave error here, as his decisions did not directly cause this. Obama’s decisions DID directly cause this.
Bush could not be expected to anticipate Obama’s future blunder.
Obama should have known what creating such a power vacuum would lead to.
I am not a Bush fan by any means, but at least blame the right moron.
The battles of Brooklyn and Ft. Lee were disastrous defeats for America in 1776, but Washington made up for those with victory at Trenton that Christmas, and eventually, in 1783, really won that war. To blame Obama for chaos in winding down a war initiated and lost by George W. Bush is as George W(ashington) would put it, “the height of folly.”
Alcoholics Anonymous’ definition of insanity applies here — doing the same thing repeatedly, unsuccessfully, hoping for a different outcome.
Just plain silly. I’m not sure who’s advising who on the foreign policy front here at FITS- is TR briefing Will or or vice versa. Bizarro world.
Containing ISIL is completely within the realm of military possibility – if the American people are willing to accept the cost.
We have the capability to utterly destroy every man, woman and child associated with this group – the problem is the collateral costs associated with that destruction. Using B-1B and B-52H with cluster and aerial denial munitions we can readily halt their movement and then using conventional dumb bombs, simply make them cease to exist along with who/whatever gets trapped along side them. Had we done something along these lines in Afghanistan (and Iraq), along with targeted special ops strikes we’d have saved a trillion dollars.
OK, I’m in.
Pure and simple lunacy.
Then watch more of our big crowded buildings disappear, but this time with half the world cheering, and the other half saying with little sympathy this time, “Well who’s really surprised?”
You see it again and again, Americans howlingly frustrated that they possess unmatched strategic force and it counts for little in the groundfights that matter.
Yet more of that collateral damage I referred to…
Basically, you have three options:
1. Kill them all and let God sort it out, but you have to kill them ALL.
2. Find a surrogate to fight them for you.
3. Hurt them badly enough and often enough to keep them scared to screw with you.
Radical Islam is a disease with no cure, only death solves the illness.
Unfortunately, this is true. It’s like reasoning with a drunk. Ain’t gonna happen.
Hey now, let’s not lose our heads over the matter.
Yes, too soon…
Fecal material getting into your brain, old man? W. got us into both wars and declared victory on an aircraft carrier. W. fed Colin Powell intentionally misleading “intelligence” from Germany that WMDs existed in Iraq, prompting Powell to repeat this at the United Nations, legitimizing the Iraq war. And the Afghan war was completely, totally unnecessary.
I’m not suggesting that we should do it, just that we can do it if we’re prepared to pay the price – we could have accomplished our real objectives far cheaper than we did if we were willing to accept collateral damage on the scale of Dresden in WWII. Fighting wars with one arm tied behind our back and the other in a pocket is dumb, expensive and ultimately a recipe for disaster.
Let’s see how fits policy has worked for others who adopted it.
How about the Free Syrian Army? Surrounded in Aleppo.
The al-Sheitaat tribe in Syria? 700 hundred massacred?
The Arab Christians?
The Yazidis?
The Kurds?
The Shiites?
All of these groups said “It is not our business” until they were attacked.
All of of them said “They are not bothering us. Why should we provoke them.”
Do we want to wait until ISIS is stronger and possible allies are destroyed or do we want save American lives and resources and act now?
“or do we want save American lives and resources and act now?”
As geopolitical Britain “defended London” by invading Afghanistan in the mid-1800s, only to lose in disgrace.
There are still a few Londoners who remember Chamberlain’s Munich Agreement and the Blitz that followed.
Every time you turn the other cheek another Chamberlain pops up, eh BT?
Plan? We don’t need no steenking PLAN!
Obama’s Five Point Plan:
1. Let the situation escalate out of control.
2. Wait until media coverage pulls down Obama’s approval.
3. Respond as minimally as possible.
4. Deny mission creep while steadily raising American involvement.
5. After dubious success, (80 Yazidis killed) declare victory.
I blame bush.
Yeah, but where does that get us.
The same place that shooting an unarmed kid in a fit of rage (or piss-your-pants fear) gets us…..
Satisfaction!
ISIS beheaded an American tonight. Go a’head’ and celebrate. You had a victory tonight you POS.
What did you do about it, GrOPer?
Should’ve just supported Assad from the beginning.
If Obama bin Golfin wants to reengage with Russia and China, agree on a no holds barred, ruthless WW3 alliance to exterminate the Islamic cockroaches wherever they are found. ISIS, Boko Haram, al Qaida, AQAP, whatever.
I was against the war in Iraq from the beginning. I was against the war in Afghanistan from the beginning.
But, I’m not opposed to air strikes against those ISIS assholes. This is a rare situation where american intervention is actually welcomed by most of the world. We are not going to be seen as bullies by attacking ISIS. And if there’s a group in the region who we should help, it’s the Kurds, who are as close to us culturally as any other group in the region.
Fuck ISIS and I hope we continue to help the Kurds and others in the region by supplying air power.
Just how do the ISIS murderers differ from the Central American death squads that Saint Ronnie and the Republicans embraced? Killing Christians didn’t matter then, when they were “our” priest killers and nun rapers and peasant slayers en masse.
Oh, there’s much more than that going on in the world. There are atrocities going all over the place. But the good US empire must stop THIS particular atrocity for some reason…because it’s more important that the current 6 or 7 others in other parts of the world.
Other parts of the world don’t affect world petroleum prices as much.
Precisely…but what if that part world was more stable if we didn’t have presence over there?
What if prices actually eventually dropped over time as oil producing countries competed over customers?
If that was the case, not only would all the money we are spending to put our boot on their necks be a waste, we’d also be shooting that same boot ourselves if the above questions yield an different answer than the one currently expected….
Increasing global impotence.
Don’t fret America. It happens to every post-world-power. Just ask Britain, Russia, France, Germany, Austria, Turkey, France, and to go back further, Spain, Portugal, Holland. Try to find a hobby.
Some perspective via Wiki: …the Western Allies bombed many locations in France. The total number of civilians killed was 68,778 men, women and children.
When you listen to the bed wetting Republicans, we are *always* on the brink of being destroyed by *someone* – I can understand the hate radio perspective… it sells clappers and Goldline genuine gold clad end-of-the-world bux.
IT’S THE COMMIES! THEY’LL COME OVER WITH SAMPANS!
IT’S THE IRAQIS! THEY’RE STRONG SWIMMERS!
“Oh, my, Harold – did you hear that? Those filthy savages are going to behead Timmy, and throw Lassie down the well!”
I could understand “killing them all” if we were talking about the first year of the 400 year Inquisition… or the Crusades… but at least THEY had the ability to travel great distances and had a good grasp of the latest technology available at the time…. and they were actually going out of their way to kill people on other continents.
But we’re not. We’re talking about people that can’t even salute the same way, or march in step.
Terrorism?
Oh, please.
Don’t we have drugs for anxiety?
There’s no secret anymore… even from the stupid people.. It’s about oil, not a physical threat of scimitars mowing down our A-10s.
Maybe the flag standers and barstool heroes would be happier if we dropped everything and started building B-17s out of scrap aluminum left over from GOPer hats. Bring back Rosie the Riveter!
lol….I like this particular rant of yours. Lots of good in it.
rants are easy – comedy is hard!
