Will, did you edit the article after posting? I swear the first time I read it you said American planes were conducting air strikes.

Now would Sic Willie do that? I am sure he would tell his readers of his original error and its correction. He is, after all, a “journalist” isn’t he?

muslim Obama’s support of radical terrorists like Hamas and the muslim brotherhood has terrified Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and a couple of other ‘moderate ’ countries in the middle east.
muslim Obama has caused a potential genocide against Christians in Iraq and because of the mid-terms in November has to act with air strikes. A slaughter of thousands of Christians in Iraq with the terrorists taking Baghdad AFTER Obama supported Hamas against Israel ,would indeed lead to impeachment when combined with the border issues ,AFTER the November elections.
Apparently air strike have begun. Wonder who Rand Paul will support? He is a disgrace.

I have sure lost a lot of my previous faith in Rand Paul lately. He sounds more and more like his nut job dad every time he makes a” profound statement.” Our Terrorist-N-Chief is finally doing , six months and many casualties later, what he should have done when ISIS first invaded Iraq. But since all the terrorists hang together he waited. Again McCain and Graham just jump up and yell “shoot something at somebody” without the knowledge of what they are talking about. The first” mistake” was pulling our troops out of Iraq. I told Bill back during the senate campaign that Fallujah was his generation’s Saigon. At least they didn’t have to helicopter the last ones out off the roof of the embassy. Another example of wasting our best and brightest by the liberal Dims.

ISIS never invaded Iraq. Their formal name is the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.” They are an organization made up large of Iraqi Sunni’s, whose Wahhabi-type ideology is fueled by madrassas in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, which are maintained by our tax dollars in the form of foreign aid. ISIS would not be ravaging Iraq had we not invaded and deposed Saddam in the first place, whose dictatorial rule was the only thing that kept Iraq stable. Thinking that the United States military can solve ethnic and religion conflicts that have existed for a millennia is the epitome of arrogance and stupidity. Iraq is three separate countries and was administered by the Ottomans as such. Absent continuous U.S. military presence for the next two centuries, these divisions will continue, and I’ll be damned if it’s right to tell an 18 year old to die in a country who don’t want us there for a war that seems to only benefit the defense contractors and oil execs who donate big money to political campaigns. And as for us protecting the Yazidis, we had no problem arming the Syrian rebels, who were largely comprised of groups that have defected to ISIS, to take out Bashar Al-Assad. This would have most certainly resulted in the genocide of Syria’s Alawite, Druz and Orthodox Christian minorities. The real purpose of this action is to protect the Kurds, who are the Israeli’s only friend in that region and have vast reserves of natural resources, especially oil. ISIS’s control of Kurdistan would essentially cut off Israel’s largest supplier of oil. We are ready to go to war to protect Israel’s oil supply. Man have our politicians sold us out.

“ISIS’s control of Kurdistan would essentially cut off Israel’s largest supplier of oil.”

Can this even remotely be true?

JC is the first time I had heard that. I certainly hope they aren’t that short sighted.

Looks like a pre-teen wrote this OR just a regular adult liberal. From what I remember, we didn’t bomb Afghanistan prior to 911 so this is not only poorly written but very misleading.

Boy, “Dirty Dick” Cheney’s neocolonial war in Iraq is progressing SO well. Though McCain did warn us that it may take 100 years.
