When this website bemoans the death of the GOP it’s a barometer of the real deal. It’s true — the GOP has turned away from issues important to America’s largest voting block (hispanics, asians, blacks, LGBTs, etc.) — and sold itself to the Koch brothers and big business. GOP couldn’t have done this without the radical right like Sarah Palin, Tim Scott, etc. I’m thrilled.

I haven’t given anything to the RNC this year just in case on the outside chance that Graham would get a single penny of it. I don’t like putting President Bush (43) in that list of RINOs above but the rest are dead on. The Republican Party needs to clean house but there are almost to many moderates in our once great party to save it. The original principles of the Republican party as expressed in our creed have been kicked aside by the go along to get along crowd. If it takes independents to set the country back on the right course so be it. But if the independents only guarantee Dims winning that would defeat the purpose. This will be an interesting election in Nov. We can make it great or we can make it worse. How will America choose ?
Massive tax cut (props for that), BUT no reduction in spending, creating a huge unfunded expansion of medicare, 2 needless and expensive wars and a big push to get ethanol subsidized and in every ounce of gasoline in this country, just to name a few! — Now, please, tell me why you would not include 43 in that list?
He isn’t nearly as bad as the rest. Not great but less slime ball moderate. He wasn’t nearly as tough o n congress as he should have been. But I still like and respect him as a person. Great guy.
