INCLUDING MORE THAN 350 IN SOUTH CAROLINA

A week after S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley told South Carolinians that no illegal immigrants were being housed in the Palmetto State, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has contradicted her claim.

According to data released by the agency, 350 underage illegal immigrants have been placed within South Carolina’s borders since January 1 – although according to Haley the  federal government is refusing to provide details on where the children are located.

Wow … guess those rumors we wrote about last week were true.

In a letter released last week, Haley told the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that she was relieved to learn South Carolina would not be used as a “mass shelter.”

Oops …

Waves of unaccompanied minors are arriving in the United States as a result of three major factors – drug-related violence in Mexico, a lack of border security and accommodative policies from the administration of Barack Obama.

Last year nearly 40,000 unaccompanied minors were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol.  That’s up 59 percent from 2012 and 142 percent from 2011.  This year?  The total is expected to pass 75,000.  And remember, those are just the kids who were apprehended … no one knows how many evaded detection.  Or didn’t survive the trip.

According to DHS, these 350 children are staying with “family” or “sponsors” – which hopefully is their way of saying taxpayers aren’t being forced to pick up the tab for their stay.  Texas led the nation with 4,280 children placed with families or sponsors since January 1 – while Montana ranked last with only one child placed within its borders over that time frame.

In addition to releasing the data, DHS sought to quell rumors of the children bringing diseases with them to America.

“We ensure that children are vaccinated and medically cleared before placing them with a sponsor,” the agency said. “We do not release any children who have a contagious condition.”

Somebody is fucking lying! And intentionally, I might add! Either it’s Obama – or it’s Haley. And how do we know it’s not 1000 of them? How do we know we are not safe from their germs and diseases? People will smile in your face and lie at the same time with a straight one.
If they are here, then there will be a trail. Calling the military bases won’t help. We all know the commanders, etc, have been told to keep their mouths shut if they transported them to their bases. And we already know that the Obama administration is paying churches to take them in and paying upwards of $6000.00 a month (as reported on trustworthy media websites).
I demand to know what in the flying fuck is going on!!!! Haley needs to step up to the plate and do some explaining. This is going to cause widespread panic as it gets out across the state; and she is made to look like a pathological liar during the same.

Our America has been usurped by impoverished Central Americans and Mexicans. I heard the Ohio’s largest voting bloc, white working people are now below 50% for the first time ever. We have been betrayed by Congress and Presidents going back to the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act. The influx of illegals are soaking up jobs, and soon Boomer retirement assurances via a broken Social Security Admin, Medicaid, and Medicare. Why do you think they passed Obamacare? The Federal government needs revenue and will take it from us legally by garnishing wages and lately from a pending rule change, by garnishing non paycheck income.

What part of children and juveniles fleeing Central America (Honduras, El Salvador, Guatamala) crossing over Mexico into the US do you not understand?

Mexico is already here…by the fucking millions. (50 million is my count)

Honduras had a military coup in 2009 resulting in crushing poverty and a sharp rise in MS-13, a Honduran transnational organized crime group. MS-13 initiations are being forced on innocent juveniles. Those kids are coming here. The lion share of the current horde crossing over into the US are juveniles…who will bring in relatives. They need a parent to receive Medicaid’s benefits then must be enrolled into our public schools sooner than later.

Medicaid enrollment rose by 53 thousand using Fits numbers last year, a 5.4% increase, with new enrollments going exclusively to single parent immigrant households with children from Charlotte. Expect that number to rise from the current border bum rush.

Of course the 2014 children and juveniles fleeing Central America are here in SC with more coming. Charlotte is a Sanctuary City. Illegal immigrants have been stuffing their public schools to over capacity with new enrollments from single parent immigrant households for years.

Those illegal immigrants in Charlotte are turning their attention to South Carolina. Of course you know SC is a major drug trafficking route from Texas to New England. The drug cartels are kidnapping SC citizens who get high on their own supply. Those illegal immigrants see fresh grass to graze on hitting every federal welfare program they can apply for.

Fresh Honduran refugees are here in SC with more on the way. Haley does not care and can not stop it.

Meanwhile, Migrant children are no-shows at Dallas immigration hearings.

People need to search “Honduras Jim DeMint” and see Jimbo’s involvement in supporting a coup against a democratically elected government in 2009.

Makes me wonder what other dictators DeMinted and his mentors/handlers in The Fellowship/The Family/C Street have supported in Central American countries that have become such failed states that their children are fleeing to the USA.

Or, what role DeMinted and his mentors/handlers in The Fellowship/The Family/C Street may have played in the problems/factors that have made these children flee. The Fellowship/The Family/C Street has been involved in virtually every US foreign policy debacle of the last 65 years.

Will YOU or YOUR FAMILY get sick from them?
Will The Caretakers of these Illegals be carriers, into malls, grocery stores, schools, bars, food eateries, SC Gamecock and/or Clemson Football Games?

Newspapers in Mexico and Central and South America are actually describing U.S. “open borders,” encouraging people to come with promises of food stamps or “amnesty.” It is textbook Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm and collapse the economic and social systems, in order to replace them with a “new socialist order” under federal control.

Carried by this tsunami of illegals are the invisible “travelers” our politicians don’t like to mention: diseases the U.S. had controlled or virtually eradicated: tuberculosis (TB), Chagas disease, dengue fever, hepatitis, malaria, measles, plus more.

Dear SCBlues,
I merely pick on GT from time to time and provide light-hearted jokes…like when I called you out for providing that the reason Holly is not required to file a tax return is because she is unemployed.
I only wish you could see my sarcasm. I have shown absolutely zero cards in my “political hand” yet you seem to imply that I am bringing forth racist remarks–and aligning with others who are “screaming ‘disease?'”
Tisk tisk. I absolutely loathe all slimy politicians on BOTH sides of the “party lines.” I personally believe that all politicians are corrupt. If they begin with good intentions, they will eventually succumb to their own greedy desires after they’ve been provoked enough times.
That said, go back to my original question (the one that prompted your need to copy and paste an entire column). Read exactly what the question was. I think you’ll have to agree that you made a quick judgment and aligned me with beliefs that may be popular among certain groups here. And maybe…just maybe, you’ll realize that those lines should have not be drawn.
Of note, your intent on drawing conclusions about me seems very similar to all of the wonderful things you said to me after my light-hearted joke about how everyone has to file taxes, not just those that are gainfully employed. (Again, go back and read that post = no particular affiliated remarks, either)
All the Best,

SCBlues July 25, 2014 at 3:24 pm

Dave Chappelle is a comedian?????? Wow – I would have never, ever known that. Thank you for schooling me like you do in the rest of your post. I simply find you condescending and you give yourself way, way too much credit – take a look-see at the thread – The Colonel prompted my “need to copy and paste an entire column” – had nothing to do with you – and the rest of your post is similarly wrong – nowhere did I imply that you were racist – I stated my belief (that I stand by) that many of those on this forum that scream “Disease” – ARE THE SAME ONES THAT POST RACIST CRAP ON HERE. If you want to include yourself in that group, be my guest. Personally I have never seen you post anything racist. Oh, and by the way – SCBlues is not my real name either, Dave – just my screen name. There – we’ve both learned something today.

Dave Chappelle July 25, 2014 at 3:45 pm

Apologies for the misunderstanding RE: The Colonel. I also apologize for the miscommunication regarding the screen name that I have chosen. I have no way of knowing whether or not you are familiar with a particular comedian.
I am not attempting to “school” you on this post. Nor did I “school” you. I merely raised a question…one that I had absolutely no idea would cause such a spark.

Jan July 25, 2014 at 11:07 am

Lets think about your question. The proper question should be are there more than 350 children in SC who receive substandard health care, lack appropriate immunization, and do not receive the AMA and APA recommended care.

In that context I think you will find the answer is a resounding yes and many times over. In fact you could probably find that many in every major SC city. I think that is probably true of all the states these kid might have been sent to. Especially in the Southeastern US where people are disproportionately poor and uninsured. So I think SCBlues has a point.

The Colonel July 25, 2014 at 11:16 am

I think, actually, I know for a fact, that every school age child in South Carolina gets basic immunizations to prevent diseases that have been eradicated for years in the US but are still prevalent in many third world countries including Guatemala, Honduras and many other Central American countries.

Jan July 25, 2014 at 11:23 am

There are a lot of children in SC who are not school aged. Not to mention all the people now who are refusing immunization on religious grounds, and who believe immunization causes autism. Also we have no good information on school aged children who are homeschooled.

So I understand, what diseases are we talking about?

Shot@Life in Honduras: A Vaccination Success StoryPeg Willingham

January 20, 2012

This week, Shot@Life, a movement to protect children worldwide by providing life-saving vaccines where they are most needed, was in Honduras with a delegation of U.S. policymakers.

For many in the delegation, it was their first time to Central America. This trip was a great opportunity for all of us to see firsthand the impact of the United Nations and U.S. government efforts to improve the health of families and children around the world.

Why did we choose Honduras?

Honduras is a vaccination success story. In spite of significant challenges, the country has proven that vaccination programs can be implemented in what may initially seem to be some of the most challenging places in the world.

Despite being the second poorest country in Latin America and placing near the bottom of the human development index ranking (a composite statistic that considers life expectancy, literacy, education, and living standards) among countries in the Western Hemisphere, Honduras is a shining example of the difference that investments in vaccinations can make.

At the start of the last decade, Honduras reported more than 850 cases of mumps, more than 35,000 cases of malaria, and more than 400 cases of tuberculosis.

But over the span of little more than a decade:

U.S. support of health investments made through U.N. partner organizations (particularly the Pan American Health Organization, or PAHO) and the Honduran Ministry of Health have contributed to an 80% decrease in mumps, a 74% decrease in measles, a 43% decrease in tuberculosis, and the virtual elimination of measles outbreaks in Honduras.

With the support of the GAVI Alliance, Honduras became the second Central American country to include pneumococcus and rotavirus vaccines in its national immunization program.

Honduras was recognized in 2011 as one of three top “Malaria Champions of the Americas” for its progress in reducing occurrences of the disease.

Although more than 1.7 million children in developing countries die each year from preventable diseases like measles, diarrhea, polio, and pneumonia in Honduras, upwards of 98% of children are currently receiving those life-saving vaccinations, according to WHO-UNICEF estimates.

There has been much to see and do while on the ground in Honduras, including a delegation dinner with the Minister of Health, a trip to a rural health post, and a visit to an urban hospital.

We’ve heard from Honduran mothers who have gone to great lengths to get their children vaccinated, and visited with those children who are now getting the Shot@Life that they deserve, thanks to the success of the Honduran vaccination program.

We’ve also interacted with the community health workers, medical professionals, and representatives of the U.S. government and U.N. partners that make it possible for these children to survive.

Next week, be sure to check our site, shotatlife.org, for a post-trip update and photos from the field. We can’t wait to share this experience with you!

Scooter July 25, 2014 at 9:24 pm

Very interesting article about all the paranoid BS oozing out of every crevice.

I get daily briefings from STRATFOR.COM and the reality of the situation is vastly different from the hype on right-wingnut blogs or other media outlets.

I ain’t saying it’s not a problem but it ain’t as bad as some dickheads would lead you to believe.

There are as many (if not more) “sheeple” on the right as on the left.

I don’t know if you have read about it or not but Spain and Morocco are having one hell of a time keeping Africans from mass crashing the border.

It goes back to my premise:

Humans are no different than any other multi-cellular organism – they will migrate when environmental conditions or other kinds of stress compel them to go somewhere else if at all possible

That’s it – plain and simple.

Well, the positive out of this is that if the parents have come forward to claim these kids, we have to assume that, whether legal or illegal, they have had to provide verifiable information about residence and work which will make it easy to keep in contact with them.
And, if they are illegal, they can be deported with their children…because we do not need the kind of parent who would put their small child on the trail alone to get here, staying here with them.
If they are legal or illegal, they need to be reported to DSS for putting their children at such risk.
If they have sponsors, are they individuals or churches? The Catholic Church has no compunction about violating immigration laws any more than criminal laws about child rape. Or, is the SC Farm Bureau, which carved out exclusions for most kind of non-restaurant work in SC’s ‘tough’ immigration law, assisting it’s members who have employees who are the parents of these children?

Maybe we could get somewhere solving this problem when we get our language right. These people are NOT IMMIGRANTS! That noun refers to folks who have or are following a legal process to become citizens. They are ALIENS. Get it right so we can get on with it. Got it?

Reply
Buz Martin July 25, 2014 at 1:20 pm

Technically, in terms of the actual word’s meaning, an “immigrant” is anyone who moves from one country to the next. So immigration happens, irrespective of laws. People “emigrate” FROM a given nation and “immigrate” to another. “Alien” refers to anyone from someplace else. Merely attaching “illegal” to it does not make it a full descriptor of what these people are. They are not illegal for being aliens, they are illegal for being aliens who are in this nation illegally.
Could be it’s you that has the language wrong.

Arrest warrant issued for man with tuberculosis…

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Prosecutors in Central California have obtained an arrest warrant for a tuberculosis patient who they say is contagious and has refused treatment.

San Joaquin County Deputy District Attorney Stephen Taylor said Thursday that police are looking for 25-year-old Eduardo Rosas Cruz, a transient who comes from a part of Mexico known for a drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis.

Tuberculosis spreads through the air when infected people cough, sneeze, or otherwise expel air from their lungs. The disease can be deadly.

She didn’t need this and SC didn’t need this. The “acceptable” violence such as this in places like Mexico is generally higher than here. Add to that, a people who either didn’t drive before coming here, didn’t have to follow traffic laws as we have before coming here, or who just don’t give a flying shit about our traffic laws, and you have many who have been maimed and killed by these illegal invading menaces on our roads.

I recall reading a few years back about a young lady who worked at a local McCalister’s restaurant who was seriously injured and debilitated after being involved in a hit and run with an illegal. He fled and was believed to have returned to Mexico. She sure as hell didn’t need him or the problems he brought to this country with him. Ask any cop (who isn’t afraid to breach PC protocol) and they will tell you that the illegals are some of the worst drivers they encounter, not only in terms of minor violations but for DUI’s, driving unlicensed, and driving uninsured. Yeah, they cannot obtain local licenses due to their illegal status but that should be a hint that they don’t belong here.

The friends and family of the firefighter who was killed along I-20 a few years ago sure didn’t need the illegal female, living in Sumter at the time, whose vehicle struck and killed him as he was dealing with a situation in the line of duty.

Almost invariably, when a country welcomes people from a depressed country or region “with open arms”, these people find a way to bring that which they purport to be fleeing, with them; whether it be crime, disease, violence, or any other negative of life. In very small numbers, this may not be as true but in large numbers, almost always true.

Cops should really bear down on these aliens but they are too busy writing seat belt tickets on old people who drive a quarter of a mile before remembering to hook up.
