So what is “The Wire?” For those of you new to FITS it is a sporadically published interactive feature in which our founding editor Will Folks (a.k.a. Sic Willie) fields tips, comments, questions and other incoming communications from you, our beloved readers.
When do we publish “The Wire?” Not often enough … which we blame on the fact Sic is always goofing off on our Twitter (here) or Facebook pages (here and here).

Dear Editor,
Since when did FITS NEWS become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Attorney General’s office? Either the “founding editor” has developed some unnatural feelings for Alan Wilson or is getting paid because the coverage has become fawning.
I am no fan of Bobby Harrell but your blog’s vendetta against him is starting to remind me of its vendetta against Nikki Haley. And its elevation of Alan Wilson on a pedestal is getting old fast.
Balance it up or you will lose this reader.

INSIGHT ON IMMIGRATION
Dear Editor,
Have you read this article? It is written by Charleston radio host Tara Servatius and is one of the smartest articles I have read yet about the illegal immigration issue. It address an obscure Obama administration ruling dubbed the “Family Interest Directive” and how this ruling is impacting the current immigration crisis.
I hope you will read it, write on it and incorporate it into your commentary for future posts.

INSIDE NIKKI HALEY’S “RESTRUCTURED” GOVERNMENT
Dear Editor,
The governor is calling all the shots at the new Budget and Control Board (SCBCB) already. Marcia Adams wants to be the new Department of Administration (DOA) director so she is doing anything the governor wants. Take a look at some of what is going on there, especially in the IT division (the name has changed again, not sure what they are calling it).
They have hired at least 5 employees making over $150,000 a year. Two of them don’t have degrees. They are using an unclassified position that other agencies are only allowed to use in special circumstances (UA17). It doesn’t have to be posted and doesn’t have a range on salaries so they can pay whatever they want. Other agencies don’t have the opportunity to use it but since the State HR division reports to Marcia, she has abused her power.
She’s gone from having only one of them to having more than twelve. She abuses her power and her arrogance is only surpassed by the governor. As long as you give Marcia a pass, the governor manages to get everything she wants by going through Marcia.
Also, look at the Deloitte contract with the security project. The change orders they have put in on that are very close to breaking procurement code. The end result will not benefit the taxpayers.

What happened to “limited government?” And “transparency?” Sheesh … no wonder the state budget grew by more than $1 billion this year at a time when the incomes of ordinary South Carolinians are stagnant.

MALAYSIA DISASTER: PREDICTING THE FUTURE?
RE: ASSUME VLADIMIR PUTIN SHOT THAT PLANE DOWN …
This young Ukrainian militia girl predicted that something like the Malaysian flight shoot down would happen in this June 18, 2014 video. About one minute in she says:
“Terrible things are happening.
For example, an incident that happened recently. Passenger plane was flying by.
And Ukrainian attack aircraft hid behind it.
Then he lowered his altitude a bit and dropped bombs on residential sector of Semenovka town.
Then he regained his altitude and hid behind the passenger plane again. Then he left.
They wanted to provoke the militia to shoot at the passenger plane. There would be a global catastrophe. Civilians would have died.
Then they would say that terrorists did it. There are no terrorists here. There are regular people here that came out in defence of their own city.
They can’t bear this anymore. How long is this going to go on.
There are children here, elderly people, WW2 veterans that have to live through it again.
Don’t you have any humanity left in you?”

As for being “woefully pathetic” your claim has to be based in total ignorance. You have no idea what kind of numbers – or offers for support – I’m attracting. Some measures of support are easy to calculate, if you had much investigative savvy.
That said: I have a process I’m following. I’m more than satisfied at this point. I’d be stupid to follow any direction offered by people who are praying (to the rain forest or your Shaman anyway) that I fail.

How sad is it that you have to go to other blogs to try and beg people to visit your site, where by the way, she carries on conversations by herself under different aliases.
The transcript of the Militia Girl asserting that a Ukrainian military plane may have been hiding close to MH17 comports with earlier reports of a military plane being close to the civilian airliner shortly before it was shot down. That led to early speculation that it was an air-to-air missile rather than a ground-to-air that brought the airplane down.
The latest CNN report charging that a Russian officer “pushed the button” on the Buk launcher, perhaps thinking he was targeting a Ukrainian fighter-bomber, is consistent with this narrative.
A news report immediately after the disaster (I don’t remember where I read it) said that another plane was tracked within 5 miles of the MH17 and was below and to the side.
Tara Servatious sucks. Her delivery is horrible, repetitive, and on top of that, I think she’s a yankee. Not to mention no one gives the first tinkers damn about her kids she incessantly talks about. She can’t hold Richard Todd’s jock.
She is always railing against universal health care…yet she has the best care available for herself and her family due to her husband’s military career. No empathy whatsoever.
She is from Charlotte and went to UNC…you know, the team your basketball squad has a little trouble with. Maybe she confuses you with those “Yankee-like” 2 or more syllable words she uses. But you seem to know a lot about her, so keep on listening.
What the hell does Clemson perennially losing to UNC have to do with anything? So what..she went to UNC. Obviously not to get any type of degree that matters. It certainly didn’t help refine her dialect, critical thinking or presentation skills.
And there must be lots of Yankees in that part of CLT she’s from. I’ve never heard a native southerner with that nasally tone and fast talk manner. To my southern ears, its off putting for me to hear a mid west accent repeatedly tell me how bad it is here; my first inclination is to tell her to go the F back where she came from if all she can do is bitch about it.
It only took about 3 days of “on my way to work listening” to her after Todd gave it up to hear what I described; I have neither the desire nor patience to listen to her any longer. She sucks. I’ve only ever seen her face in print, but I picture her to be quite bowling pin shaped, sporting a set of deflated fried eggs as chest ornaments.
Ok..even for me, that was little vicious. Tara, if you’re reading, I take back the part about being bowling pin shaped and your fried eggs.

Shouldn’t a prediction come before the event happens? This video is dated July 18 and the tragedy occurred on July 17. Do the separatist have the ability to observe two planes at 33,000 feet hiding bombing and then hiding again? The commercial jet would be flying at 1000 mph. Would such maneuvers even be possible?
Keep up with your spotlight of Alan Wilson and Bobby Harrell. After all, Harrell is, what, South Carolina’s most powerful — and corrupt — politician? Wilson’s tortuous attempt to simply do his job is like Sisyphus. Kim D. (probably a Harrell staffer) can go jump in the lake.
