“NO JUSTICE … JUST US”
We’ve written extensively in the past about how incentivized dependency isn’t advancing the best interests of low-income earners (including minorities) … but there’s a flip side to that coin, too.
Not only are black Americans more likely to be held back by the vicious cycle of government-run schools and government handouts, they’re also more likely to be removed from the workforce altogether via a discriminatory justice system that disproportionate incarcerates them – often for non-violent crimes.
As comedian Richard Pryor used to say, “if you’re looking for justice, that’s just what you’ll find – just us.”
Don’t believe us? Look at the numbers. According to an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) study released last fall, 65 percent of inmates sentenced to life without parole for nonviolent offenses were black. Only 18 percent who were white.
Overall blacks account for 45 percent of the prison population – but only 18 percent of the general population.
More than 2.5 million Americans are currently imprisoned – a number accounting for 25 percent of the global prison population (despite the fact America comprises just 5 percent of the total global population). That total has more than quadrupled since 1980 thanks almost exclusively to mandatory drug sentencing – and blacks are bearing the brunt of this failed escalation of America’s failed “War on Drugs.”
Minimum security imprisonment for one inmate annually runs taxpayers $21,000. Maximum security costs $33,000. Add it all up and we’re looking at billions of dollars down the drain in incarceration costs alone.
Never mind the broader economic impact …
In fact there’s a new study out showing that the economic progress achieved by black males from 1940 to 1980 has “halted … and in many cases reversed.”
All of this is ridiculous …
The maintenance of correctional facilities is clearly a core function of government. Prisons are an integral part of the justice system that exists to safeguard our lives, liberty and property – which even “cops and courts” libertarians like our founding editor acknowledge.
Oh, and if there are racially skewed statistics based on the commission of real crimes (i.e. murder, rape, kidnapping, larceny, assault, etc.), we don’t have a problem with that. Do the crime, do the time.
But drug arrests – especially the estimated 80 percent that are for possession alone – are needlessly draining our tax dollars and sapping the strength of our economy. And blacks are getting disproportionately screwed over by the system.
The War on Drugs is a failure … everybody knows it. It’s past time to decriminalize drugs and stop subsidizing the effective enslavement of generations of (mostly black) Americans.

Unfortunately, Rinos need crime, and need blacks and hispanics to commit crime so they can spend money to combat it (police and prisons) so they can appear to be tough on crime and keep us all ‘safe’.

I think I still prefer being white. As kids we used to drive through nig-town and egg the prostitutes. Oh, what fun. Another great activity was riding the bus uptown with the maid (she got off at 1:00 on Saturdays) to go to the movies. Somebody would usually have to get up so I could have a seat. School was great too, everybody was neatly dressed and well behaved, yes ma’am and no ma’am, Christmas carols, brought our lunches in brown bags, lot’s of homework and penmanship was a subject. Great memories, indeed, bitches!

There is a struggle for every human paycheck, and Big Prison is winning. Without non-violent conspirators to possess or traffic in medicinal flora derivatives, substances, and 60 proof liquids, entire US Departments, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, city/metro police departments, county sheriff departments, solicitor’s offices, prosecutor’s offices, judges and staff, prison construction contracts, defense attorneys, and prison/jails and staff would all be out of a paycheck with lifetime medical care and generous pension provisions. They must have a ready supply of 18-30 year old non-violent offenders “breaking the law” to justify those budgets and paychecks. White collar crimes, tax cheats, sex offenses, and jay walkers with the intent to get to the other side of the road simply are not meeting the quota of felons they need to keep those paychecks coming. Illegal drugs…yea baby, that’s the ticket. Impoverished black people using drugswho can’t afford lawyers?…perfecto.

Hospitals, doctors and nurses would not have a paycheck unless there is a continuous supply of sick people. The business model requires growth in the number of sick people. Yes, their business model requires them to make people sick.
Schools, superintendents, principals and teachers need students to perform poorly in order to convince tax payers that more funding is needed. I am just scratching the surface.

Big Education already gets 46% of all revenue taken by personal income taxes and sales taxes. Big Medicine is being hijacked into a single payer system with all money going to the US Treasury.
So, Big Prison gets money cut off for mental health care, pharmaceuticals, dentists just pull teeth, they cut out breakfast, prisoners sleep on floors so those in LE get those paychecks and are ordered to arrest more, more, cut more tickets, get more fines, get that revenue, confiscate that property, take that cash from their pockets. Big Road Repair gets money cut off. All the while Big Public Workers get a combined 5% pay increase two years running. And Big County, having money cuts as well are being forced to increase the sales tax a penny.
Throw in illegal immigrants taking services and under the table wages paying no taxes, I ask…how much longer will it go on before crashing? Look out our windows, our America the Beautiful is no more. It is Them vs Us and Them have our permission to make up the rules anyway Them want with no accountability or oversight.
