I will have to call BULL SHIT on this one. Hamas puts their rocket launchers in schools, and private homes to make it look like Israel is doing what this article says. The Israelis have actually pulled up their fighters from attacking to prevent harming civilians. They are better people than I am. Kill them all and let Allah sort them out is my way.
Totally agree. While the death of children is an unfortunate outcome of warfare in urban areas, this fight was started by Hamas who routinely launches missiles from occupied housing areas, stores weapons in mosques and school and even uses children as soldiers and suicide bombers. If they want the “killing of children to end, the solution is simple – stop launching rockets into Israel.
Israel’s response has been very measured – Iron Dome is strictly defensive and was built at great expense (by the US and Israel) solely to defend Israel from Hamas’ (and the various other Israel haters in the region’s) rockets. They have targeted missile launch sites only when they can confirm the targets.
Hamas may well over play their hand and the death toll will be substantially greater and Israel will still be blamed.

Zero Hedge should stick to financial gloom and doom; they may know even less about foreign policy and the Israel / Palestinian problem than Ravenel and FITS. The article was right about one thing- we surely won’t see such a silly, pro-Palestinian interview on an American media outlet. Even MSNBC or NPR would blush a little over the clown conducting that interview. Anyone who’s worked over there knows precisely how Hamas works- they intentionally hide behind kids and under women’s skirts. They lob non-precision rockets into neighborhoods (even while Israel observed the ceasefire, by the way), but Snow accuses Israel of targeting children with a straight face. The Israel thing really brings out the stupid in people.

I would start with the fact that you opened with “Oh, really?” I used to do that too, until about the 5th grade or so.
Did you actually read the article? The content pretty much kills your “proof.” The sniper says he found the random photo on the web, and the IDF immediately condemned it in very certain terms. Forget that it was on HuffPo; it still didn’t contain anything indicating that Israel was intentionally killing kids.
Finally, there’s your “What an evil race” comment. Anti-Semite, much, do you?! You appear to have some issues, amiga. As I said above, the Israeli / Palestinian issue really brings out the stupid in people, and you, ma’am, are State’s Exhibit A.”
The way to eliminate a group of people is to take out women and children, the US government did it to Indians years ago. If you take out their ability to reproduce or grow into the next generation, they will eventually disappear.

In the movie “Munich” (which depicts Israel hunting down and killing the ones responsible for the murder of the Israeli athletes) several times it is mentioned why Israel was doing this. It was so people would learn “don’t fuck with the Jews”. Apparently the Palestinians and others have a hard time understanding that.

No. The movie is based on actual events, Israel (read Mossad) does not screw around. They would not intentionally target kids but they are not going to let the possibility of co-lateral damage risk their country.

Never occurred that HAMAS have always hidden munitions and rocket factories and firing positions in civilian apartment buildings, which Israel actually take the time to call the people inside to evacuate? If Israel was purposely targeting civilians there would be 100,000 dead already. Instead, it is about 200, most of whom were militants. The thing speaks for itself, hundreds of thousands of pounds of ordnance, 200 dead, most of whom were specifically targeted. Obviously care is being taken to avoid civilian casualties.

Israel warns the Palestinians to get to a safe place but Hamas uses them as shields.
