A petition candidate has submitted signatures to appear on the November ballot against U.S. Sen. Tim Scott.
The candidate – Brandon Armstrong – “appears to have the necessary signatures,” an official at the S.C. Election Commission told FITS.
Scott – who was appointed to his post in January 2013 by S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley – is running to fill the balance of the unexpired term of U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, who resigned in 2012 to become the leader of the Heritage Foundation, a Washington, D.C. think tank.
Also running? Democrat Joyce Dickerson and American Party candidate Jill Bossi.
Armstrong’s signatures will be sent to county-level offices for verification. Assuming enough of them are valid, the state will then certify her for the ballot.

…….the table is being “set”…….
….this is a classic example of political “flanking”…!
…this should be mandatory student observance across all social study and political science classes nationwide..!!

I can’t wait to read all the great stories about Brandon on Fits. It is going to be great.
You are SO RIGHT…LMAO. FITS is so transparent, and so predictable to anyone with a brain.
Good read about FITS’ hero, Felonious Punk: Here: http://scdigest.blogspot.com/
“”The party’s dictate to support the “R” despite some missteps in office, is demoralizing.””
“How Obama has lasted this long, is baffling”
You do understand how poorly these sentence are written, right? I’ve seen 7th graders use better grammar and syntax. You might stick to your day job, whatever the hell that is. Your six personalities could probably cobble together 40 hours a week to pay the bills.
Thanks for the feedback. We value all of our readers’ opinions. But I think your criticism is more because of the rare (but correct) way I used the word “dictate.”
You may want to look up all usages of the word.
“How Obama has lasted this long, is baffling”
Even a third grader wouldn’t find it baffling, that’s the sad part. He won his election, bam, four years. He won his reelection, bam, another four years. He cannot run for president again. There is literally nothing to be confused about. This is about as simplistic as logic and math gets.
Teaching writing skills to GrandTango is like teaching nuclear physics to a brick wall, except the brick wall doesn’t drool.
Wow! What a candidate! We should just go ahead an coronate T-Rav and Brandon Armstrong right now.
Wait, what – Armstrong is a what? A n”Isle of Palmsian/Mt. Pleasantan”, “no donations accepting”, “old white woman”, painting contractor with no political experience, looking for something interesting to talk about with her cronies. One of her listed web sites http://armstrong4senate.com/ isn’t even owned by Armstrong and is basically parked. her corporate web site: http://armstrongpaintingcharleston.com/ is parked as well – not a lot of useful info for someone looking to run for Senate. Speaking of that Fits, how in the hell did she get 10,000 signatures without anyone hearing about it until now?
If I was looking for a painter for my beach house, I’d think about giving her a call – Senator, not so much.
Anyone that has ties to Haley needs to go. Haley always calls in her favors.

Who is Brandon Armstrong? Former NBA player? Painting contractor?
Are they another “credible” candidate like T-Rav? Or do they lack the prerequisite felony conviction and citizenship revocation?
One ugly guy.
If purple gums were the sole qualification for office, he’d never lose.
Scott will win about 58-60% of the vote.Dickerson will get 30-35% and the other two will split the remainder.
This race is one big yawn.
Go Scott Go.
To vote against a Conservative like Scott you are either a Democrat and or a Racist!
Scott is on the record for wanting to be SC’s Governor. When he wins, his seat is up again in 2016. He may not run in 2016. He could run in 2018.
Is Brandon a woman or is this an error?
