There’s no difference between “Republicans” and Democrats in Washington, D.C. – both are, as we’ve previously said, “two-faced, big-spending, liberty-depriving, imperialistic, crony capitalistic, currency manipulating, morally sanctimonious, special interest suckling politwhores.”
Both are also painfully awkward to watch in any setting in which music is being played …
For example, take the ceremony held in Washington, D.C. this week to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Don’t get us wrong: We support equal rights for all Americans regardless of color, creed, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. In fact one of the central tenets of any new political party (and God knows we need one) must be the acknowledgment that the promise of individual liberty should extend to everybody in this country equally.
“Equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome …” we’ve often said.
Liberty and racism are simple incompatible with one another … and while we don’t approve of every provision of the 1964 law, we certainly embrace the purpose behind it.
Leave it to leaders of the U.S. Congress, though, to totally screw up what could have been a nice moment.
During the ceremony, U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), U.S. Rep. John Lewis (D-Georgia), U.S. Senator Carl Levin (D-Michigan), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (RINO-Kentucky), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), House Speaker John Boehner (RINO-Ohio) all linked arms and began to sway (or attempt to sway) to the Charles Albert Tindley gospel song “We Shall Overcome.”
Get ready for one of the most awkward moments ever captured on film …

If there was ever any one picture to symbolize how fucked up this Country has become, this is it
You are the smartest person on the planet. Better yet, I’ll be in jail, a grenade or small nuclear bomb inside the SC house at the right time would change the state for the better. Problem solved, Hey, Vote R, Please get it over, I’m boa’rd to shit !!!
Ha! It was just like a church service, without the church. All bow down before the new god, your government. The ushers will be passing down the collection plates, if you don’t fill them, they have a gun in their trousers.
Amen.
PS. You have to love the fact that even people with little to no morals are actually uncomfortable with a raw display of insincerity to this degree. It gives me hope.(not really)
What do rich white people have to overcome?
The fact that EBT cards are allowed at fast food and convenience stores.
….the fact that increasingly, they’re becoming financial and cultural SLAVES to an unbridled, out-of-control populace that lives off of them.
black parasites….
Did you really toss out that bait, Trout?
What do rich white people have to overcome?
Economically suicidal, though well-meaning, philosophies and policies invented , advocated and implemented by other rich white people.
IE : progressivism, liberalism, political correctness etc
Yeah, like Social Security, Medicare, Votiing Rights ACt, Civil Rights Act, all the things that get in way of a colonial economy run by oligarchs that kills opportunity for workers and the middle class. Not forgetting the resulting loss of social mobility.
“colonial economy”…..”oligarchs” …..you have to be a college professor, because Marx, Lenin and most of the ’60s hippies are dead.
This makes me thing twice about not letting Pelosi give me a blowjob — she looks like she could take it. Nancy, give me a call.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Not Pelosi!

WOW – thanks for that – it snapped me out of my moment of temporary insanity in a moment of weakness!
How sexy is it that her eyes roll back into her head as she jams it down her throat? It’s like a shark gulping down a baby seal.
Their hypocritical rendition would have carried a lot more weight if they were being firehosed, baton-beaten, or German Shepherd-attacked while they were singing it…
I think the four “leaders” should use this photo on their Christmas cards this year.
It brings to mind the old saying : birds of a feather flock together.
