“Slimehouse” Prevails In Charleston

Last-minute mailings containing demonstrable falsehoods about his GOP primary opponent’s voting history appear to have lifted S.C. Rep. Chip Limehouse (a.k.a. “Slimehouse”) to a narrow win in S.C. House District 110.

The eminently corrupt Charleston liberal won an eleventh term at the S.C. State House with 50.53 percent of the vote – edging local businessman Russell Guerard by a mere 39 votes. Moreover, Limehouse won by just enough to avoid a mandatory recount of ballots cast.

Limehouse’s victory could come at a high price, though, as he is currently being sued by S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley’s lawyer – Butch Bowers – for several last-minute attack mailings that lied about Guerard’s voting record.

Not only is Limehouse facing a possible slander suit, but he could have violated state election law if his campaign had anything to do with the attack mailings against Guerard.

I’m assuming the ‘slander’ suit will be heard by the House Ethics Committee?

In order words, Limehouse has nothing to worry about.

Fortunately, it appears this one is filed in the Court of Common Pleas,
so it will hopefully be decided by a jury. Unless, of course, a judge
(all of whom are voted on by Limehouse and other legislators) makes it
disappear first.

The “lawsuit” was strictly a campaign move.It will be dropped shortly.

All he has to do is hire the same lawyers who have swept the Lexington Mafia fiasco under the rug. What’s it been now, two years and it’s not even mentioned any longer. The boys in Lexington County are having a good laugh over this.

Actually, he has family who apparently have close ties to them.

The SLED Report regarding Lexington’s gambling ring is in the hands of AG Wilson’s State Grand Jury. AG Wilson went after Harrel, but that Grand Jury investigation could be nullified in a few weeks when CJ Toal sends the SLED Report on Harrell to Ethics. Ethics could give it back to Wilson.

I repeat…a State Grand Jury was convened regarding the Lexington gambling racket. It is up to AG Wilson’s to prosecute after their findings. Been a year now?

It is such a difficult and slow process to fix these issues at the ballot box when so many of the electorate appear to be such fools.

FITS making a SLIME accusation. That’s Priceless…

FITS companied for years after the Bush people “GUTTED” McCain in 2000…back when Sanford and McCain were joined at the anus…before FITS figured out McCain was a political pariah….

I don’t mind you being stupid. Most rank and file liberals have to be. But when you are a F*#king corrupt liar, like FITS, that’s hard to take….

The election was much closer than I thought it would be. I just wish I was in Limehouse’s district so I could have voted against him.

Butch Bowers? Woah! He’s a ringer! Son of a Buck isn’t really slimey. He’s just fugly, uncouth, and extraordinarily dumb. An odd choice to represent real Charleston and an even odder choice for Mt. Peasant.
