If Sheheen would promise in writing that he would not appoint Leon Lott as Chief of SLED or any other position of power and prominence, I would vote for him as he might be the strongest candidate who would beat Haley. She has got to go! She does not deserve another four years in office, given her dismal record, so far.
As it is, I will be voting for Ervin and hoping someone keeps Haley out of another four year term. Unfortunately, she will get many thousands of “straight party” votes from the morons who select that option.
Tom Ervin’s wife, attorney Kathryn Williams, has contributed $4,500 to Sheheen’s 2010 gubernatorial campaign and $50,000 to the S.C. Democratic Party that same year, according to state records.
Say it ain’t so Tommy. Is there any doubt that Ervin is running to elect Sheheen?

I have to admit that the Democrats have done on a state level what the Republicans have done on a national level. They picked a completely worthless candidate that has no chance of winning in November outside out Tom Ervin sucking enough votes off of Haley. Sheheen is an ambulance chasing loser that has no balls. James Smith would have been a much better candidate. I will still vote for Sheheen, but he’d better grow a pair in the next few months or he will end up on the ash heap of has-beens. I guess he can ask Bill Connor how that feels. And Shari Few.
