Funny story:
I found that clip in a torrent of SNL episodes on a Polish (I think… google translate didn’t tell me the home country) web site. I signed up, activated my account, and downloaded the right season, set Microtorrent to skip downloading all but the right episode, loaded the episode into camtasia, cut the clip out of the episode and saved it to youtube… and it flagged it as banned world wide… so I put in the obligatory dispute, and the boiler plate legal language… and “voila!” … only, well – it was in dispute, not necessarily cool…. but generally, if the dispute fails, you get a message saying so, it has a little red exclamation mark by it, and no one can view it… so you delete it. Until the dispute is settled, it can be viewed.
Only, this time.. after a few days, I logged in to you tube, and it told me that I you tube discovered copyrighted content on my account and I had to watch this stupid little movie and take a copyright multiple choice test to log onto youtube again… and they said I’d have my account terminated if I hosted copyrighted content 3 times….
…and tonight, Norma Scok says, “If you’re gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.”
