I thought Sanford began offshore Drilling, on his Ho, when he walked out on his wife and kids, years ago…why is he studying it?

Sanford recently had shmoozy things to say about Jeb Busch, Rick Perry, and Rand Paul. Maybe he is going more establishment wack-job. This junket to the Gulf signals that he is having a “studied” or “nuanced” reversal of opinion. That, or it is a free food and drink get-a-way for him and his honey.

It has come out now that Argentina has oil and maybe he wants to give them tips on offshore drilling.
Sanford’s votes against offshore drilling for natural gas is reason enough to dump him come 2016. If Sanford has an interest, it sure is not for US energy dependence. Most likely he smells a “lease” land to Shell Oil deal to build a LNG terminal somewhere on the Sanford Moonlite Bunny Ranch.
Mark Sanford was willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING by taking “AMERICA’s DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN DRILLING” and “owning it” so that we don’t have to.
The man is a hero of Biblical proportions.

Sanford joined forces with MoveOn.org in opposing an international seafood business in Beaufort. I have a copy of his letter to DHEC asking them to deny needed permits. His actions were solely based on rumor, lies, and innuendo. Let’s hope he gets the facts he needs to make an informed decision about energy exploration off our coast.
