Liberals are stressing the fight within the GOP, when it’s the democrats ruining the country. You are ignoring that.

We’ll deal w/ the Establishment GOP. We’ve slapped Boehner’s @$$ back into place a couple times already. He cowered and did what we’ve told him. The people are actually having a voice in the GOP…And it’s effective. Republicans are by far the choice over the democrat generic, nationally.

FITS. your Stupid @$$ might need to worry about the mess the democrat party is in. They are fueling race and gender hate, because they see the Senate going BIG to the GOP. And when that happens, all we have to do is threaten the Republicans, and they”ll do what we tell them…(see the now-meek Sanford)

It’s the Republic working like it’s supposed to work. And that is what scares the Dog-$#!* out of Dictator-leftists like you….

No need.As Tango said, it is working like it is supposed to work.
Since Obama was anointed pResident Republicans have gained control of the house, picked up 2 seats in the senate, now control 30 of 50 gov’s and a majority of BOTH house/senate in states.
In November Republicans will add seats in the house, gain 8-10 seats in the senate for control and put the brakes on muslim Obama and his regime.
All is well. RIP Obamacare ,RINO’S and OWS.

Supposing Republicans were to take back the Senate, good luck overriding Obama’s veto if you want to kill health care reform. It just won’t happen. :)

Yes, picked up two senate seats, of course the Democrats had 60 to begin with. Democrats have won 5 of the 6 last presidential election by popular vote. Yous see, gerrymandering doesn’t apply to the Senate or POTUS.

The country is nearly evenly divided, not 2/3rds GOp as you imagine.

The Teanuts had their big victory in 2010 which was the perfect time to do so, as reapportionment immediately followed, thus allowing gerrymandering to maximize there advantage in the legislatures and US House.

I hate a sore loser. :-)
Most Republicans are elected because they believe the Constitution is a ‘living and breathing’ document intended to help protect individual freedoms and liberties.60% of the country.
Most Democrats are elected by a brainwashed, fringe and radical element in this country that believes they are victims of racism and sexism so they should be allowed to ride the perpetual welfare train while advocating for as many abortions as possible and perverted lifestyles. 40% of the country UNTIL the 19-28 year-olds realize everything their state controlled teachers and professors taught them is a lie and then it goes down to 30%.

Wow. If only you and your ilk actually BELIEVED that. In reality, if it is not expressly stated in the Constitution, your ilk think it is unconstitutional. Things like the FDA, EPA, Social Security, etc. are all unconstitutional in Teanut land.

When I was 19-28 years old, I was a conservative Republican. As I grew older I realized the lies I was told by the right, were just that, lies. I guess you’re just slower, and you will eventually come around too.

The Tea party is getting bitch-slapped by the GOP ‘establishment, and it is just starting. They were fine to take your money and your votes, just not your nutty beliefs.

Willie likes to opine about how “futile” it is to achieve the goals he supports from “within the GOP” but him and those like him dare not jump ship, lest they drown in the oceans of irrelevancy. Staying within the GOP and trying to pull a few politicians their way is the only way they’ll ever achieve any influence at all. If they actually tried to start a third party they would find out real quick how fast “conservative” America would cease to tolerate their bullshit.

The sad thing is, not everything conservatives or libertarians support is bad, but they’ll never achieve what most could agree on as good due to their extreme stances, refusal to compromise, and their lack of hesitation to demonize and label anyone and everyone that may have a difference of opinion as whatever stupid fucking buzzword comes to mind. I mean really, it’s come down to this:

“I agree with most of what you believe, except for maybe X and Y, and I could meet you halfway on Z.”

You Communist Socialist leftist America-hating unpatriotic establishment RINO “Republican!” Sure you voted against this and that every single time BUT THAT ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH!!!1!

Only in the bizarro world of FITS can the Speaker of the NC House be considered fiscally irrresponsible. After watching the legislation, the direction and bent of government in NC for the last several years only a moron or someone with clear idealogically biased agenda could make the broad sweeping accusation you asserted in this piece.

CNSYD is right. The majority isn’t buying what you are selling, Folks.

Increasingly, the majority in other States aren’t buying this silliness espoused by the Tea Partiers and further, the loosely moored Libertarians either.

Well, you have watched the legislation and direction, but I am a NC resident. I can tell you that he was fiscally irresponsible, and, as a registered Republican, I could not vote for him. Check out the nearly $500 million budget shortfall that we are going to have this year. Last year, the budget was balanced due to the use of nonrecurring revenue from a “rainy day fund” and that, as we all know, is just a budget gimmick. Where does this current deficit come from — cutting taxes but not cutting expenses. How could he not have seen this from the budget? His own party even said this was based upon questionable numbers. What is amazing is that freshmen members of his own House are apologizing to educators for cutting too deeply. Teachers are fleeing NC because they can get a $15,000 pay raise by moving elsewhere (NC is now 47th in the nation in teacher pay). How is it that he lived with his chief of staff, who had an affair with a lobbyist, but knew nothing about it? How is it that happened again with another one of his senior staffers? Even better, how is it that these folks (plus others in his office) were given a pay raise when all other State employees were told there was no money for any state raises? Fiscal conservative? No.

I am a demo libtard as Tango would say, but in reality I am against abortion, I think people on food stamps and disability should be regularly reviewed to see if they continue to meet the legal requirements, and I think people should be free to run their lives as they see fit without too much intervention. I also think every kid should serve his country for at least 2 years in the military at age 18.
What I do not like about the GOP is its lack of interest in the opposing side of the story, the counterpoint to the point. The GOP used to very engaged in all of the modern debates of the day but now they get their guns and will aim at you for going against Jeebus. If they returned to normalcy I could support some of their causes but right now they are too weird for me.

Tom Tillis is the most electable of the Republican candidates. NC has registration by party, and the Republican numbers come in at 30.6% of the registered voters compared to the Democrats at 42.3%. The Independent or unaffiliated come in at 26.7% which is the demographic that swings the winning vote.
As a native North Carolinian I have had conversations with many Democrats who are very displeased with Washington, DC politics, and will be supporting Republicans at the national level.
