SOUTH CAROLINA WORKFORCE HITS A NEW RECORD LOW …
S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley is America’s “Jobs Governor,” or so she would have you believe … just don’t ask her how she’s lowered the state’s unemployment rate.
Haley has been busted inflating the state’s jobs numbers on several previous occasions (including HERE and HERE), but that’s not her real trick. The governor’s primary method of “reducing joblessness” in the Palmetto State has been …. drumroll, please … shrinking the size of its workforce.
Labor participation in South Carolina slipped to a new record low of 57.9 percent in March, according to the latest federal data. That’s a whopping 5.3 percent below the federal rate of 63.2 percent – which itself has been hovering at three-decade lows for the past few years.
When Haley took office, the rate stood at 60.4 percent – but has been falling precipitously ever since.
Ready for some context? Only West Virginia (53.8 percent), Mississippi (55.9 percent) and Alabama (56.8 percent) have lower labor participation rates than South Carolina.
“It’s a great day … for forty-six other states,” one fiscally conservative State Senator told FITS, mocking Haley’s “It’s a great day in South Carolina” slogan.
Ouch …
As we noted the last time we covered this oft-overlooked statistic, “South Carolina’s shrinking unemployment rate isn’t the result of an influx of new jobs – nor is it attributable to new hiring by existing businesses … its the result of tens of thousands of working age South Carolinians leaving the workforce.”
Nikki Haley doesn’t discuss that, though. Nor does she discuss the number of jobs South Carolina has lost since she took office (like the 500 jobs manufacturing giant Caterpillar just announced it is shedding). Nor does her administration provide an accounting for the billions of dollars spent on taxpayer-funded “economic development” – government subsidies which often fail to produce a return on investment.
If Haley mentioned those things, people would soon realize the employment situation in the Palmetto State is nowhere near as rosy as she would have you believe … which makes it not unlike our state’s income situation. Or its academic situation.
We hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is not a “great day in South Carolina,” people. It’s a dark day … and getting darker for those looking for work.
In fact South Carolina is about to lose even more ground to North Carolina, which recently enacted a broad-based individual income tax cut.
While embracing wild spending increases, Haley has supported only modest tax relief since taking office. Her Democratic opponent Vincent Sheheen has offered no tax cuts. Libertarian gubernatorial nominee Steve French, on the other hand, has embraced legislation sponsored by S.C. Sen. Katrina Shealy (R-Lexington) to eliminate the state’s individual income tax over a five-year period.
“This is why it is so important to get a candidate that is willing to call a spade a spade, a candidate that looks at all the numbers, not just the numbers that can be cherry picked to make a particular point,” French told FITS. “We need different people in office to make a difference. Eliminating the income tax would allow businesses not politicians to bring more jobs into the state organically and really turn South Carolina around.”

You want fries with that?
Hey baby – you offerin’ more than fries? My name’s Mitt.
Maybe she should have a conversation with the universe…to figure out what’s wrong with her.
lol, +1 on this
I’d imagine Vishnu is floating around interstellar space and might answer if she shouts loud enough.
I’d be curious to see what percentage of the non-workforce participants were retirees in comparison with the other states.
doesn’t count retirees. it’s working age population.
Will,
Nikki is a goddess if you allow her to accept credit for all good things, and if you allow her to accept no blame for any bad things, and if you allow her to lie.
Vic
what age are *they* using for retirement?
What does the state consider “working” age.
I retired at 59.
Will you are wrong. It does not count 18 and under or non institutional. About 23% is 18 and under. 14.7% of SC population is over 65 years old compared with the USA.
Jackie, Will’s reply is wrong. SC pop. is 4,774,839. Subtract 22.9% under 18 that leaves an amount close to the 3,737,682 used in the BLS link.
Are people in high school and college considered part of the work force or a non-participant?
I’m not sure of the exact definition of “non institutional”, but know it excludes prisoners, military and 16&under.
Since Nikki was elected, the percent of this population employed has only increased 0.7% to 54.7%. Only a few states have a lower percent. The average state has only gained 0.3%. ( don’t know US figure) SC beat all but 15 states and tied 4 in gains. I’m got this from the link Will provided. Also SC has about 1% more over 65 than the US average. ( SC 14.7% ).
So since Haley was elected SC is still near the bottom, but SC has had greater gains than most states.
“Labor Force Concepts” BLS
“The civilian noninstitutional population consists of persons 16 years of age and older residing in the 50 States and the District of Columbia who are not inmates of institutions (for example, penal and mental facilities and homes for the aged) and who are not on active duty in the Armed Forces.”
I assume that school and college students are included.
Hey FITS…you Dumb@$$…the country has been in an economic mess since the last qtr. of 2008…What ELSE happened then???..You delusional F*#king leftwing idiot…
Ah, Sarah Palin had to go back to Alaska? Congress passed the TARP plan and President Bush signed it. Stop making it out to be Bush’s fault all the time Tango – sometimes it was Cheney’s fault too.
Besides, in Nov 2008 – what else happened that month – FITS got a ride on the Punjab Pony.
Signing any legislation as a concession to Obama is just one step…..but F*#king it up was another…
Reagan helped Chrysler…and it paid back and then some…
Who has F*#ked up EVERYTHING????…Obama’s record is SO BAD…that don’t happen by accident…
So trying to assuage your ignorance by invoking Bush, just shows what a F*#king idiot you are…
I don’t understand. Employment fell from 5.5% to 9% under Bush out the door, and is back to 6.6%. I’m struggling to understand your definition of failure. #)$*&%#)$(85 – Boogy man.
Hahahah…you Ignorant F*#k…now you’re tryin’ to jump from the TARP F*#k up of Onama, to the employment myth Obama has fed you Dumb@$$…
Forgive me for not Kicking Your @$$ some more…I’m too busy LingMAO at you…Idiot…Hahahahahaha…Yall are Ignorant…LMAO…Hahahaha…
“Forgive me for not Kicking Your @$$ some more…I’m too busy LingMAO at you…Idiot…Hahahahahaha…Yall are Ignorant…LMAO…Hahahaha…”
Forgive me for not Kicking Your @$$ some more…I’m too busy LyingMAO at you…Idiot…Hahahahahaha…Yall are Ignorant…LMAO…Hahahaha…
now that’s F*#king original!
Chrysler still makes shitty quality cars, but damn, they ARE nice looking now, at least.
Form over substance – the one thing America is still good at.
It is noteworthy that earlier in the year Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) slammed these groups, explaining he loved the real voters who made up the “tea party” but not the people who were running these PAC’s. (A spokesman for McConnell did not respond to my inquiry about The Post’s report.) “What they do is mislead their donors into believing the reason that we can’t get as good an outcome as we’d like to get is not because of a Democratic Senate and a Democratic president, but because Republicans are insufficiently committed to the cause—which is utter nonsense,” he said last December. Little did he know how lucrative it can be to con the faithful.
Thanks for demonstrating your ignorance, lack of originality and intellect.
I’m very suspect of people who cannot think for themselves, and present convoluted and cloudy answers to simple, straightforward issues. It shows you’re hiding something and/or, you are simple minded…
… and nothing can find you where you hide… in your emptiness.
Alas, as he himself said, it was only “dry docking”.
I forgive Will, spurting in that thing could of been very thinkable. Is she clean?
Your girl is spiraling down the toilet, too. Just admit it.
I actually would not mind seeing her stumble, so we could get a True Conservative in the race, pre-primary…but because Obama is SO Bad…she is seen as GREAT…and will win fairly easily vs the 3 democrats….
Tom Ervin is a true conservative!
I know him very well. We grew up a few miles apart and have been friends for years.
A Bush supporter, A Mitt supporter ?
Conservative like “A Brick Wall”. There are no republican conservatives stupid.
It will be interesting to see if rabid rightwing blogs and high-powered talk show hosts which often team up with these groups – carrying their message, giving free media time, interviewing the groups’ leaders, amplifying their attacks against incumbent Republicans — express outrage and call for an end to the fleecing of donors. After all, it is their readers and listeners who have been ripped off. And will Jim DeMint, who founded the Senate Conservatives Fund and now heads the Heritage Foundation also denounce these practices? Silence would speak volumes.
South Carolina was in a spiral downward way before 2008.
We a had billion-dollar budget surplus at the end of 2005, you ignorant Dumb@$$….and funded education at 110 percent…
All republican run states would have failed without federal money, Too simple.
“Groups like the Senate Conservatives Fund are modern-day snake oil salesman who sell purity for profit and have been scamming unsuspecting conservatives around the country. They operate under the belief that the weaker the Republican Party is, the more powerful they are and they don’t care whether Republicans win back a Senate majority so long as they can keep making money and growing their own power.” Nor has this been a “no harm, no foul” undertaking: These groups have pushed forward unelectable nominees in at least five winnable Senate seats (Delaware, Colorado, Nevada, Missouri, Indiana) in the last two election cycles. Those candidates all lost, but apparently the PAC operators did very well for themselves.
Considering you views, I’m surprised if you don’t send them a contribution.
I’m on my own payroll…. (sung to the tune of I am my own granpa)
Koch bros, Adelson and Rich make sure there contributions are put to good use (fits being the exception ). I recommend you only contribute to organizations they support. ;-)
I contribute to myself – I give the best return, dollar for dollar of any PAC I’ve heard of.
Interesting…we have now had 12 straight years of complete domination of SC State Government by Republicans. The State House, State Senate and the governorship have been in Republican hands since the 2002 election. Yet we are losing ground in education, income and work participation relative to other states. Funny how the conservatives relentlessly criticize Obama for not fixing the entire US economy in his 6 years when he is working with a divided Congress and yet the Republicans in charge of the entire State of SC government for 12 years get a pass after presiding over our declining standard of living for 12 years.
Education achievement is GREAT in districts w/ more Conservative leaders. We can compete nationally. The Economy was the best in the history of the state, under the Bush Administration. That includes income inclines and job opportunities. And even now, GOP areas are faring better than the places where democrats have driven it into the ground (see Detroit, see Marion County)…
It’s only been since the Obama Administration has everything taken a step backward and a hopelessness set in for all Americans…..
The only 12-year staple, are the clichés, lies and ignorance, liberals like you use, w/ the media, to perpetuate failure and stupidity…to feed your Greed, Selfishness and Power…
Why do you think the democrat party is in such big trouble as a brand…and you are so desperate. You got your chance to govern, w/o opposition and it was the best advertisement Conservatives could ever hope for…
The Democrats have been the WORST president and Congress in the modern era…We cannot dump you soon enough.
Speaking of power…….
“Education achievement is GREAT in districts w/ more Conservative leaders. We can compete nationally. ”
Cite one.
If you’re smart enough to know what I’m talking about already, I doubt you’re not smart enough to accept any data I provided for you…
I agree.Idiots like Deo Pyle and vicupdemsarse work off a similar premise-If they never tell us the TRUTH then they have never LIED to us!
Get your Nikki curry boy.
Look it up, the republican run states recieve more federal money than democratic run states.
That means your democrat gods are Dumb@$$#$ then. I’m glad if my representatives take money from the ignorant democrats to give to the people they stole it from…even though I doubt you’re telling the truth…
Stupid son of a B!*t*hes like you, I’ve notice have devised all sorts of catchy side arguments to try to cover the fact of what a colossal F*#k up your leaders are…
Just GTFO of our offices, and STFU with all of your excuses and Stupid statements to avoid admitting WHO and WHAT you are…
Give me a, Nikki salute, and a Bush salute.
Washington Post/ABC Poll TODAY:
52%-41% DISAPPROVE
57%-37% DISAPPROVE OF OBAMACARE
60% DISAPPROVE OF OBAMA ON ECONOMY
60% DISAPPROVE OF OBAMA ON RUSSIA AND FOREIGN POLICY
60% BELIEVE OBAMA TO BE DISHONEST AND A LIAR
Good bye Democratic Party! History!
What is the percentage of disapproval of Congressional Republicans and what percentage think Congressional Republicans are dishonest liars?
Must be higher than Obama and the democratic socialist party.
Since Obama was elected Republicans have gained control of the House, picked up 2 seats in the senate, control 66% of governorships and BOTH the state house and senate in a majority of states since the Civil War.
Dems are getting ready to be an extinct party that will come back as a socialist,OWS type party under an Elizabeth Warren type.
“Since Obama was elected Republicans have gained control of the House, picked up 2 seats in the senate, control 66% of governorships and BOTH the state house and senate in a majority of states since the Civil War.”
…and nothing is getting done. Thank you, Sandy.
Sure things are getting done.Barack Castro Chavez Obamunist has shredded the Constitution and is getting plenty done.
1.Destroying the economy
2.Destroying Israel and empowering the muslim brotherhood
3.Eliminating jobs
4.Raising gas prices 100%
5.Allowing illegal criminals to stay in country
6.Use IRS to destroy Christians and conservatives
7.Destroy healthcare system and institute death panels
You stupid cunt. Republicans have offered nothing in making healthcare better than the old failed system…thus, their own disaproval level of doing nothing. That other shit is right out of a Glenn Beck holocast fantasy.
Were you replying to the lady news anchor on Saturday Night Live of years ago?
What the fuck are you talking about, slut? :)
You’re making the assumption that Republicans WANT to do anything about health care in this country.I wouldn’t make such an assumption.
Wait a minute? Someone else is posting using my screen name.
I’m the real WTF, not this imposter!
Slime stealing someone’s screen name, slime.
Might be Tom Ervin? Dumbass Pelosi/Obama lover apparently don’t even know when he was born (like Obama):
Tom Ervin – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Ervin – Similar to Tom Ervin – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thomas J. Ervin (born 1951 or 1952) is an American attorney, judge, and politician from the state of South Carolina. A member of the Republican Party, …
How in hell can you not know when you are born? Gee wiz?
I don’t remember when I was born. Only what people tell me. Do you?
Notice the godamn question mark…oh, yeah, nobody would ever use such a remarkablly obscure titile.
Goddamn*
Lighten the fuck up, WTF.
Notice this!
I DO NOT use profanity!
Especially God’s name in vain!!!
Log in and use an avatar, that puts a stop to that.
Most recent poll on Republicans in Congress was from McClatchy. April 7
Disapprove 69%
Approve 26%
Unsure 5%
And that is up.
Oh, and the percentage of people who think Republicans are dishonest liars is 100% whether they admit it or not.
But it’s because of Nancy Pelosi they Hate Congress. The Republicans will be re-elected, or replaced w/ Tea Party Republicans.
A Florida congressman’s already ugly divorce has taken a bizarre turn after he said in court papers that he was never actually married to his wife of 24 years.
In documents filed last week in 9th Circuit Court in Orange County and made public Tuesday by his lawyers, Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., accuses Lolita Grayson of having still been married to another man when they were wed in 1990.
You cock sucker. You sure fooled me.Please call home.Lolita?
That could be good for your campain. If you are a Nikki fan. Poor Nikki, out of her dreams. Mitt’s loss should of been a wake up warning. All Aboard, Planet KOLOB is in sight. PS, find your own ideas, moron. The Real Deo!
That is stupid!
These PAC’s fall well short of that. Republicans who have been targeted as sell-outs by these groups have every right to be infuriated. They’ve been used to generate huge money – for the PAC leaders. It is good business to harangue mainstream Republicans, fundraise off of the “sell outs” and then reap the rewards. The notion that these groups are helping the GOP or the country is preposterous. A senior GOP aide told Right Turn. “It seems pretty clear that these so-called Tea Party leaders are more interested in lining their own pockets than living by the values and principles of the millions of Americans who have donated their hard-earned dollars to support the conservative cause.”
Why are republican run states at the bottom of the US?
Really? What are you smokin’? Rebublican run states have had a much better economic records than those run by democrat governors. Ask Toyota (moving from California to Texas). And democrat run states? All 7 of the last democrat governors of Illinois were indicted for corruption, 4 are still in prison.
George Ryan (R), governor from 1999 to 2003, was convicted in 2006 of corruption related to his time as Illinois Secretary of State in the 1990s, when commercial driver’s licenses were issued to unqualified truckers in exchange for bribes, and one of the truckers was involved in a crash that killed six children. Former governor Jim Thompson, whom Ryan had served under as Lieutenant Governor of Illinois in the 1980s, was manager of the law firm that defended Ryan.[8] Ryan was released in 2013.
Out of the $37.5 million spent so far by the PACs of six major tea party organizations, less than $7 million has been devoted to directly helping candidates, according to the analysis, which was based on campaign finance data provided by the Sunlight Foundation. . . . Roughly half of the money — nearly $18 million — has gone to pay for fundraising and direct mail, largely provided by Washington-area firms. Meanwhile, tea party leaders and their family members have been paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in consulting fees, while their groups have doled out large sums for airfare, a retirement plan and even interior decorating. . . . Three well-known groups — the Tea Party Patriots, the Tea Party Express and the Madison Project — have spent 5 percent or less of their money directly on election-related activity during this election cycle. Two other prominent tea party groups, the Senate Conservatives Fund and FreedomWorks, have devoted about 40 percent of their money to direct candidate support such as ads and yard signs.
While the Tea Party is a cancer on our political system, and there probably were genuine abuses on expenses, there is some justification for the amount going to candidates being that low.
Direct mail brings in a lot of money, but it also costs a lot of money to generate that revenue. The printing, postage, etc. to mail out 100 letters when only 1-3 will come back with money is the nature of the business.
Thank God the Tea nuts don’t have the entire $37.5mm to spend on ads.
Purity requires that every red cent is accounted for – to prove that private business is more efficient than tax dollars.
Bobby — You’re doing it too. You are guilty of allowing fact-based reality to interfere with the screed here in the Republican Nirvana known as South Carolina. Don’t you get it? The facts are irrelevant! Just listen to Nikki on the stump — this is the economic “promised land.”
“NIKKI HALEY ONLY CARES ABOUT NIKKI HALEY!”
And another 4 years of tax payer room and board and taxi service and the Koch brothers ….so on and so on.
oh she cares about stating her fantasy perceptions daily on Facebook.
Yeah, but she’s so good at it!
…like a stripper bragging about how good she cooks.
O, I didn’t see the second “o” in “cooks”
the first time I read your post.
I am one of the “not counted”. I have been unemployed for over 8 months so DEW does not count or track me. Anyone past 6 months that is still not employed falls from the rolls and no longer counted.
You mean, when you aren’t tracked by government you don’t just go away?
I thought statistics meant something.
How old are you? Do you seriously want a job?
Not sure how old I am. Momma told me I was born in 1951 OR 1952.
A job? 1-800- luv-adem is my job! Sheeshit the shit!
The only growth I see in this story is in the rump of our Governor.
… which, as you can see for yourself, has been quite successful. Just imagine what more she can do for herself and her inner circle if she gets another four years!
your Governor, I did not vote for her. Had to get that off my chest, you vote Nikki ?
No. Sheheen. He may defend criminals in his law practice, but that’s our constitution at work. I’ve got no problem with that. I don’t know of any serious ethical lapses by Sheheen, either. Certainly nothing approaching Haley’s unreported WS&A and LHC bribe money. If you know of any, please post them here.
Thanks Tom. My veiwer is down. I ask, only in my way, did you vote for her? Andre was the best choice. Speeding tickets, were better than outside T- money. Former R, looking.

Four years ago it looked appealing.
Now it looks comfortable.
The income levels in this state are at the bottom of the barrel unless you work for Trikki Nikki Haley. I currently live in a state that put the likes of Mark Sandford back in office. The man should have been indicted for using public funds legally. But not this state they put party above Morales. Haley has been terrible as Governor she lies and she is a tyrant…I truly hope people realize we need to change our state by November Tom and Sheheen may not be the best candidate’s but anything is better than giving Haley another 4 years to move to a higher office. She has cost this state so much already, the massive data breach she sat on until Romney lost the primary here. The Georgia port deal so she could get a speaking position in Florida at the HOP convention. Padding the numbers at DSS all the while kids are dying. Etc…..We also need to remove some of our fine lawmakers they are not doing anything to help our state they have cut state government to the bone and have wasted millions of dollars trying to pass laws that have already been ruled in the US supreme court as legal. All they care about is staying in offive and the money gravy train.
Absolutely!
Haley has been a disaster from day 1.
She has failed, floundered, lied, cheated her way through life:
Wilbur Smith
Lexington medical Center
DOR breac
Savanna River sell out
DSS child murders
Darla Moore fiasco
DHEC Board replacement
Replacing competent experienced employees with total failures
Illegal destruction of Government emails
Cheating and lying to her family with Folks and Marchant
VOTE OUT HALEY! “It will be a GREAT day in South Carolina!”
Don’t forget about the daughters job at the gift shop at the state house complex.
YOU BETCHA!
Sarah,
You live in a “state that out the likes of Mark Sanford back in office”.
My party, the Republican party turns a blind eye to the likes of :
Mark Sanford, Richard Eckstrom, Bob Peeler, Nikki Haley all adulterers and continues to cater to them!
Thomas Ravenel, Ken Ard, Bobby Harrell all criminals!
We elect and reelect the same old tired, worn out people, follow like blind mind controlled zombies because of a party label?
We listen to their politically spun crap spewing forth from them and their handlers and vote them in election, after election.
Don’t get me wrong, the Democrats have theirs too! Look at the Clintons and Obama!
We need to change our system and the way we blindly follow theese reprobates again and again!
They make decisions daily, that affect our lives and those of our nfamilies, children and Grandchildren. They all need to go and be removed every few years.
The corruption, the lack of ethics and immorality begins the first day they walk into office.
Liars, cheats, adulterers, NO morals, No Ethics!
Change my friends, Vote CHANGE!
can I marry you and move to another state?
We don’t need anymore hope and change.
Most republicans in SC should be in jail. It is a no brainer, unless youre a pub. It’s been a field day for 12 years.
What’s up with her upcoming supposed trade trip to India in November? Visiting relatives on the taxpayers’ dime?
We can only hope she has a one way ticket. Haley would look good working in India.
Republicans have destroyed the US. It started with Reagan. Who does not know that?
Democrats have destroyed America. It started with LBJ and “The Great Society”. Who does not know that.
You’re right!
Yeah, LBJ declared the “last” general amnesty which is why all the illegals feel so welcome to come here, err..that was Reagan. But LBJ doubled the national debt with his very foolishly unaccounted tax cuts which were so bad they had to be repealed in ’86, err that was Reagan. Well, LBJ was the first and only divorced president and he doubled the national debt from 1Trillion to 2Trillion after running on a platform about how harmful the national debt was, err…shit that was Reagan too. Damn it all. Well at least Reagan stood by his campaign pledge that we dont negotiate with terrorist. I mean if he just gave the Iran contras what they wanted up front to get the hostages out w/o trying to bargain – that’s not technically negotiating right?
The actual reason the unemployment rate has dropped is the mass exodus of illegal aliens from the state. You kids can argue about whether that is a good thing or not, but one look at the landscaping and construction crews in Columbia will tell you that the number of illegal Mexicans in the area has vanished.
I really hope you are right.
For what it’s worth, the three major NBC TV outlets in the state, did the story and then added a couple of lines about how many new companies were coming to SC. Don’t you find that just a little bit too coincidental? I know.. they all share news and sports video, but, dang, word for word? Doesn’t anybody work for a living anymore? Or is it all “rip and read.”
Haley needs to resign,,,,
DSS had been unable to locate the family after a
medical official notified DSS that a baby with a heart condition was not
receiving proper care
Columbia, SC (WLTX) – A Richland County woman has been arrested and
charged with unlawful neglect of a child in connection with the death of
a five-month-old.
Sgt. Curtis Wilson with the Richland County
Sheriff’s Department says that deputies arrested 29-year-old Jennifer
Coles Tuesday afternoon.
Last week, Richland Sheriff deputies and
coroner Gary Watts began looking into the death of the 5-month-old who
was on a heart monitor.
A medical official in Richland Cnotified
Social Services on March 3 that a baby with a heart issue wasn’t
receiving proper medical care.
Department of Social Services
officials say an investigation was opened March 4, but the family,
according to DSS, could not be located despite repeated attempts. Law
enforcement and the agency worked together to find the family and
located then in another county last Friday, but the child had already
died three days earlier.
DSS Director Lilian Koller, who is
already under fire for other children’s deaths while in DSS custody,
released a statement tonight saying:
“The thousands of dedicated
employees at the Department of Social Services work hard every day to
protect children who are in some of the worst imaginable circumstances,
and they succeed in serving and protecting thousands of children.
“There
are a small number of tragic cases in which their best efforts do not
succeed, as in this case where we could not locate Baby Webb and his
apparently transient family? after repeated attempts.”
“We will
always be looking for ways to improve performance in the Department
until we reach a day when no children in South Carolina are neglected or
abused.”
Coles bond hearing will be held on Wednesday at 9:30AM at the Richland County jail.
Both
the sheriff and the coroner will hold a news conference Wednesday
afternoon at 3PM to provide more information in this case.
Its a great day in South Carolina isn’t it if you work for Haley.
How many more children have to die under this Governors leadership?
When is Haley’s press event announcing the closing of the Caterpillar plant in Fountain Inn? That’s 510 high wage jobs with benefits gone — no doubt to be replaced (if at all) with part time retail jobs without benefits, and those only if the taxpayers bribe the retailers to locate here.
NIMRATA is in a fix on how to respond to the Caterpillar news.
Why, you ask!
NO UNION to blame it on!
YOU BETCHA!
