A date has yet to be set for a critical hearing involving embattled S.C. Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell (RINO-Charleston) – despite what one of Harrell’s lawyers claimed a week ago.
Harrell attorney Gedney Howe told The (Columbia, S.C.) State newspaper last week that the hearing – which seeks to determine whether S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson can continue his grand jury probe into Harrell’s public corruption – would be held on April 30 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. That statement turned out to be inaccurate … or at least the circuit court judge who will preside over the hearing, Casey Manning, did not want to appear as though he was completely in Harrell’s pocket.
“Judge Manning didn’t want Harrell’s lawyers announcing his hearing schedule,” a source familiar with the scheduling of the hearing tells FITS.
You know … as opposed to dictating the outcome.
Harrell is facing a wide array of public corruption charges – and those are just the allegations we know about. Nonetheless, Manning is widely expected to kick the investigation into those charges back to a “cover-up committee” in the S.C. House of Representatives comprised of lawmakers who report to Harrell.

Gedney just “misspoke” and what he meant to say was, “The judge will set a date to accommodate our schedules when he checks his instructions, er. schedule…”
WHATEVER! You don’t know Jackcrap. You don’t know what the Judge is going to do and you don’t know anything about whether Gedney misspoke or not. I hear that the State Fair coming to town and they are hiring for carnies …now is your chance.
